Jack is Indian but more specifically South Indian, and his last name originates from a region that speaks Telugu so I as an Indian (I get a say in this thank you very much not lame ass white people who don’t know theres a difference between west, north, south, east and central India that exists) headcanon that Jack speaks and writes and reads in Telugu.

Jess please please please this is my petition for you to include more of the cultures of the characters in the nevermoor series. I would reallly love it if we got to see like Indian festivals or culture in the nevermoor.

But just want to say I love the representation in nevermoor it is one of the reasons I love it so much it makes me feel so seen and so loved and as though I belong there and feel at home in nevermoor
