the principle behind gale choosing not to suicide bomb the elder brain in the confrontation with ketheric and instead risking the possibility that the chosen three's plan for world domination would succeed just so that he could preserve tav's life and anakin choosing to go dark side and doom the galaxy ostensibly for the sake of saving padme's life are the same. gale just has the benefit of the doubt because a) ur making him choose it. and b) there's the ch ace of success at the end vs anakin throwi g in the towel immediately. but anyway like i said the principle and such
