Their bodies were tight, blocking out the chill. She tilted up her chin so that her bottom lip grazed his and growled from inside, with a want that edged them closer into the heat they were generating.
“Wah yih tryna do to me?” His words empowered her, and she hooked her leg over his, his hand resting on her thigh.
"Dya-know, " he said, "I never told anyone what I told you. On the roof like." His eyes were stormy in the shadow, the fire crackling beside them. She found herself gently stroking his cheek and noticed that his eyes closed as if he’d been waiting for tenderness his whole life.
The whiskey smell caught her off guard, recognising it before his face. Cal squatted down before them, his knees crunched and he wobbled, propping himself back up with his hands in the dirt.
"Woah there, almost fell onto me arse, hold me steady, hold me. " He reached his hand out to her, forcing a contact she didn’t want. He gripped her wrist tight, taking a while to let go and the moment he did he swiped her phone off her lap. She hadn't realised it was flashing.
