being a reader vs being a writer is insane.

like as a writer, i always want to apologize for not being in the mood to write whatsoever and hope no one hates me or is mad at me for not being a well-oiled story machine.

yet as a reader, if a writer tells me they're sorry and not in the mood to write, i'm like 'dude i love you, i'll re-read the same chapters you've posted in the meantime, and you can take five years to update because that will just give me something to live for in 2029'

Hey all! I've gotten a couple people checking up on me so I do want to let you all know I'm alive!

In all honesty, life has been a lot lately-- I'm safe and healthy and everything, so please don't worry, but things have just been busy and mentally wonky (for lack of a better word).

I'm really hoping I'll get some writing done this month, and it's a goal to get a chapter for TMIW out within the next couple of weeks. I really appreciate everyone being so patient and kind, you are all the best readers I could ask for. Love y'all <3

You cannot convince me that THE Donatello Othello Von Ryan Bootyshaker 9000 Hamato doesn't like Owl City. This is NOT me projecting my love for Owl City onto him because everyone always makes fun of me for liking them, nope, not even a little bit.

Donnie's music taste is so similar to mine, I was like listen, if I like his music taste then he might like mine and this was born. Leo represents the haters in my life.

Not only is the comic superb, hello I love the style, but I too also love Owl City, GREETINGS! ♡ DONNIE WOULD. RAMBLE MOMENT. I finally got to go to one of his concerts a couple years ago, for his Coco Moon album, it had always been a childhood dream of mine, and he's definitely been my favorite musical artist since I heard my first from him. [Which happened to be the Oreo commercial! ^ ^] Fun-Obscure-Fact for those who don't know! The genius behind Owl City comma Adam Young has several little albums for instrumentals under his own name, I was gobsmacked when I found out not too long ago, EESH-? I HIGHLY recommend them all, they are severely underrated. And each one is themed to go with historical events such as the Titanic, the Endurance, and Apollo 11. ★ ♡ MY PERSONAL FAVORITE TRACK / ALBUM ♡

TMIW Chapter 55 - Progress Update

Hi folks! To all of you currently reading Tell Me I'm Wrong, I wanted to give you a quick update since I didn't get a chapter out for January. As you may know, I'm in the middle of my MA program in university, and I am in the last six months of my program! (Yay!) What this means, however, is that all of my mental energy is going towards working on my thesis. There is very little room for anything else in my brain aside from school, oops.

All of this to say, I am still working on TMIW, but chapters are going to be posted quite infrequently over the next few months. I am going to try to get a chapter out for February, but I'm focusing on not pushing myself into another burnout. I just wanted to let you guys know, in case anyone was wondering when January's chapter was coming out. Sorry about any inconvenience, y'all!
