Early life: Spencer lost his parents at a young age, his mother left him and his father and his father sadly died of a chronic illness. He was taken into care in Beacon Hills and brought up by a loving family and had been truly happy. He was a normal child, enjoying life and what it had to offer. As he grew into his teenage years, he began to notice a change in behaviour. Worsening aggression, easily annoyed. His foster parents knew, from documents passed from his father, but they withheld this from hom until he turned eighteen. Once revealed, he didn't know what to do with the new information, revolting against the norms and causing trouble. He was grieving his parents all over again. He has somewhat become accustomed to the idea of being a wolf. He triggered his curse recently and is awaiting his first full moon on the 29th September, fearing this new version of himself.

Maeve's heart raced as she heard the growl and saw the wolf behind the tree. Fear surged through her veins, but her training and instincts kicked in. She knew she had to remain calm and not show any signs of aggression. "I don't want any trouble," she said in a trembling voice, taking a cautious step back. "I-i'm sorry...." She slowly turned and started to walk away, all the while keeping a watchful eye on the other. Her mind raced with thoughts of what was happening, what was he? she'd felt strange since the other town merged with Beacon Hills, even more so with the full moon approaching.

He was sure, for a moment, she had not realised who he was. He thought perhaps it was a blessing, not wishing for her to see him in such a way. He liked to think she had seen the 'picture perfect; view, and if she knew who he really was, it would relinquish any friendship they had. "Maeve ." He managed to call out, shaky breath and fearful tone. Eyes searched the dark to find a route of escape, but came up in a loss. "Please go."

"Gundam needs to go pee." He said pointing at his service dog. "And if he pisses in my apartment the landlord gives me hell." Hikaru sighed. "He probably needs a good five minutes and I'll be out of your hair deal?"

He was not getting the message, put perhaps he was not in the know. If he could hold off for just a bit longer, to let this human out of sight. "For god sake." He spoke, mostly to himself, eyes searching the dark for an escape route.

"I'm not going anywhere, Spencer," the werecoyote stated, stepping closer to the tree that he cowered behind. She recognized the male from a party the two had both been at a couple of weeks ago; he'd been sweet, attempting to be the hero of the hour and rescue her from a situation with an overly handsy male that she'd managed to take care of herself. The figure stood before her now was a shell of the Spencer that she'd met before. Malia knew exactly what he was going through. She could vividly remember the frustration and fear that had erupted within her every time the full moon grew nearer, during those first few months of being human once again. If it wasn't for Stiles and the rest of her pack helping her to gain control over her transformations, she was certain that she would've hurt someone. "I've been where you are before. I know what this feels like and, believe me, I know how fucking scary it is. Please, let me help you."

For a moment, he had forgotten their first interaction, the whirlwind of thoughts savaging his ability to think clearly. Emotions were high, temper was tested, he felt everything was becoming a blur. However, the moment he heard her voice, he recalled their first meeting. She had been fierce, but kind -- it was the one thing he recalled about her. She was independent, almost the opposite of Spencer. He had to admit, he needed all of the help he could get in this moment. The overwhelming tinge of fear he felt, afraid of what he may do , or what may happen to him. Frustrations were building, nails digging into his palms and blood dripping down his arms. Growls leaving his lips through panicked breaths, eyes turned to look at her. "How can you help? No one can help."

following spencer's confession, juni had decided to delve into research, and even posed a few questions to her grandmother about werewolves. she had learned a lot in a small space of time, cramming all the knowledge she could into her mind in hope of being able to help spencer during the up coming full moon, his first full moon. wolfsbane in hand, the young witch had her mind set on being there for her ex, of helping him through the night. she quickly turned up the street toward his home, then saw him rushing down the street. he looked agitated and somewhat panicked, and juniper immediately jogged toward him.

"hey, wait a sec!" juni quickly spoke, reaching out to grab his wrist lightly. his skin was on fire, and the young witch's eyes quickly shot open wide. "spence. i.. i've been researching and.. i think i can help. i brought some wolfsbane and.. my granny has said that we can use the basement in her cabin in the woods.." the young witch's eyes softened as she caught spencer's gaze. "please, i wanna' help."

He knew, deep down, that he needed her help, despite every fibre of his being telling him to keep her out of it. She deserved better, and he did not wish to get her involved in this. This was something he needed to manage, not cause her more pain, disappointment, or even put her in harms way for his own selfish gain. She had always put him first, but he had timelessly, not done the same for her. This was different, he was not willing to watch her throw her life away for him. He knew things were uncertain, and he would not help give her closure that she deserved.

He stopped for a moment, slowly turning to face her. The evidence was clear on his face, the sweat which laced his skin, eyes full of fear, trembling bottom lip -- he was scared for what was to come. "I -- is it far?" He questioned, in relation to the basement. He needed somewhere remote, and secure -- to stop him doing harm to others. "I appreciate this, but I don't want you to get hurt, I would never forgive myself for that." He took her hand gently in his, squeezing it before letting it drop gently by her side. "I am selfish for putting you through this."

Her words were not helping his composure, nails digging into his palms causing a tear in his skin, blood seeping down his arms. He growled softly, eyes flickering a colour he was not familiar with. "Stop -- leave!"

lydia knew the signs of a new wolf changing and she had hoped not to end up in this situation. yet somehow luck hadn't been on her side and now she had to figure out a way to help him without getting killed herself. " i know, but i can't leave you either knowing what is happening to you. i can help, if you let me. "

he was doing everything within his power to remain calm, gain composure, not wishing to transition within another person's proximity. he appreciates her kindness, her ability to see through what the supernatural world was causing him. "i -- i don't need help , i just need to do this alone and the last thing i want is for you to get hurt."

"You shouldn't be here." A growl fled from the wolfs lips, hiding behind the tree in defence. He, was not in control, the part of him that wished to do no harm was replaced by the creature he had become. He was afraid of the damage he could do, and had unsuccessfully been able to contain himself. He was doing his best to remain in the shadows, coming across many whom had been unsuccessful in escaping other wolves. "Please go."

Irritability consumed him, more so than he had ever experienced. Following him triggering the wolf curse, he had been overwhelmed with anxiety, trying his best to prepare for the unknown. His lack of understand of who he is posed threats, and caused greater strain on his own mind. He felt lost, left without an idea of how best to tackle the challenges that followed. He felt his father, whom passed when he was young, had set him up to fail, and only wished that he had prepared him. This could have been anything , even a miniscule of information would have allowed him to know what challenges laid ahead. Instead, he was led into this somewhat blind.

The books he had managed to get had instructed him to gain a secluded place, one of which prevented disturbance. He did not want to risk the loves of others, and had swiftly gone to try and find somewhere quiet. He had somewhat struggled, not knowing the location well enough. However, an abandoned barn nearby was his best bet. Rucksack in hand, Spencer had turned to leave his home, locking the door behind him before moving down the street. Turning the corner, his eyes met with another, someone familiar -- someone he did not need to see today. "Sorry -- I can't stay and chat." @jvnipxrs

tatia raised an eyebrow at the young werewolf . ❝ how is the truth creepy ? ❞ she questioned him . ❝ Even if I wasn't a psychic I am the mother of two wolves I raised on my own . twins . turning every month on the night of the full moon since they were six and seven . I know a wolf when I see one . ❞

"The creepiness isn't the truth , it's how you seem to know." He narrowed his eyes, shaking his head. Her comments made him soften slightly, less afraid to discuss what he was enduring. "Really?" He had trouble comprehending what she had told him. "You don't -- look old enough for that?" He treaded carefully.

Davina had a couple of books opened on the occults . nothing too out of the ordinary . but if anyone looked closer and read between the lines , they would know .

she raised an eyebrow at the young wolf when he came closer . ❝ your research is on wolves ? it does sound odd but im curious as to why? ❞ although part of her knew why .

Her question caught him off guard, enough for him to pause momentarily as he gave himself time to consider an excuse. He was too used to making excuses, and this time, he was coming up at a loss. "I -- it's hard to explain." He gnawed down on his bottom lip, avoiding her gaze.

juniper stood at her doorstep, a mixture of emotions flooding her as she watched spencer. his appearance was unexpected, and the memories of their last encounter weighed heavily on her mind. she couldn't deny that there was a part of her that still cared deeply for him, but the hurt and confusion from that night had left a mark.

as spencer stumbled over his words, juniper's gaze softened. she could see the uncertainty and vulnerability in his eyes, and it tugged at her heart. taking a deep breath, she reached out and gently accepted the gift basket, her fingers brushing against his in the process.

"spence," she began softly, her voice tinged with a mix of apprehension and understanding. "thank you for this. you didn't have to, but i appreciate the gesture." she paused for a moment, searching for the right words. "i... i know things got complicated the last time we saw each other. i don't fully understand what happened myself, but i also know that sometimes, we all have sides of ourselves we're not proud of."

juniper took a step closer, her gaze unwavering. "i'm willing to listen, spencer. if you want to talk, to explain, or if you just need someone to be there, i'm here." she offered him a small, supportive smile, hoping to bridge the gap between them.

as he stood in the doorway, the confidence that once was held dissipated as soon as she became visible in the doorway. his once calm demeanour was replaced with the coward who she saw during the party events. a softened gaze met with hers, eyes meeting for a moment and he hesitated before dropping his gaze to the ground. he only wishes he was the man she needed him to be, but at present, he felt like half the person he used to be.

after triggering his curse, his emotions had been heightened, confusion mixed with agitation, outbursts present daily as he tried to overcome the barriers that the full moon would present. he felt he had become a monster, one of which could not be around her.

he could not put her in half way, the women of which had been his constant, his motivation and his solace. he did not wish to corrupt her, or give her a reason to hate him more than he hated himself. as much as it hurt him, she deserved better than him. he felt this was why they had not worked out in the past. he was undeserving of her kind and patient nature. this did not diminish the feelings he had for her, the lump forming in his throat, eyes moving to look away as he contained himself. he could not appear weak, or give her a reason to feel bad for him. he felt he had been the cause of this, he was at fault.

"thank you , i appreciate everything you have, or will ever do for me." he spoke lowly, muffled slightly as he kept his head low. "and i owe you an explanation, for why it happened. i have been trying to avoid it, i don't want you to be put to harm for who i am, or .. what i am."

❝ Your first full moon . ❞ tatia stated bluntly . she was never one to beat around the bushes . it got her into trouble in her days at times . To be so direct , not many liked that but she liked to be honest . ❝ You don't have to pretend . Are you alone in this ? Parents ? Friends ? ❞

He was unsure what to say, what to give away without putting himself, or others of his kind at risk. He was not aware of how much she knew, but either way , she knew enough to compromise him. " Uhm , not exactly got anything left in the parent department." He laughed, something he often did. He had to laugh about it, for the truth was too dark to comprehend. "My friends are , good , but i fear I have pushed them away already."

"ah, the full moon can be quite unsettling, especially if you're not accustomed to it," caleb began, his voice calm and reassuring, a sympathetic look on his features. "i've spent a good portion of my life delving into the mysteries of the night, studying various supernatural phenomena, including the effects of the full moon on different beings. though i...haven't done it myself, i know a lot about it."

In this moment, Spencer was somewhat speechless. He felt thankful that he was not alone in this, however, he had been instilled not to speak of who he was to anyone. If his father was alive and knew, he would surely be disappointed in him for revealing this to anyone else. But for the first time in a while, Spencer needed help, otherwise he would likely not make it to the next full moon. "I feel , alone , for the first time since I triggered this thing , everything feels like the end of the road , even when it's minor things , and the full moon -- don't even get me started on that."

Artemis turned around to face the person who had spoken to her and immediately she could tell he was a werewolf. She took a few steps back just in case, she didn't want to get caught off guard, even if he didn't seem like a threat right now. "Sure, there's a really good one about two blocks away, it's the one I usually go to." She told him, titling her head to the side. "Are you new in town?"

Despite his time away, and it only being a short time, Spencer felt somewhat disorientated to the scenery. The influx of new individuals, alongside many shops changing ownership, leaving him a little lost in where to go. "Thanks -- to be honest, I used to live here but things have changed a lot in only a few months. Like my favourite coffee shop used to be just there but they went bust." He sighed, shaking his head. "I'm Spencer, by the way." He held out his hand with a wide smile.

He had failed to not think of her, his mind taunted by the night of the party, the acts he had undertaken, and worst of all , how he had treated her. He had lived in fear of his curse for the majority of his life. From as long as he could remember, he had been told to not allow that part of him to surface, for he would not be loved or acknowledge by good people if he was part of supernatural kind. His father, from his knowledge had avoided his curse, but from the moment he passed away, eh had been left with questions and doubts about who he was. To this day, he is not sure of who he was, or what this meant for him.

Despite this, he knows Juniper deserved better. She was not to blame for what happened that night, in fact, she had one a stellar job of trying to hide his mistake and support him. He had not given her time to understand, he did not want to explain what he had done. He was fearful of her seeing a darker side of him. He wanted her to see the good side, paint a picture perfect view, but any chance at that had been destroyed when he triggered his curse. The worst was yet to come.

He had anticipated leaving a gift at her door, placing the gift basket on the doorstep and fleeing as quickly as he could. He was sure she would not wish to see him, and thus he had avoided as such. The moment he placed the basket on the step, pressing the bell -- he froze. He knew he needed to say something, for not acknowledging it alone would make things worse. He had not prepared this, normally he would prepare what he was about to say over and over in his head, to avoid mixing his words or making things worse.

The moment the door opened, his eyes softened and his head fell to his feet. He grew blank but managed to mutter the words. "June -- I , uh, I got you this." Teeth sunk into his bottom lip as his hand raised to rub the back of his neck. @jvnipxrs
