I think the reason I enjoy Ghibli so much is it romanticizes the little things. It makes me want to bake, study, clean the house, garden, and more while listening to happy music and occasionally picking wildflowers and lying in the grass. It helps me find joy in day-to-day life and that’s honestly sooo important for my mental health.

Spring is hell if you live even a LITTLE bit out in the country

A black widow with a thorax the size of a nickel just came in the house. Also last week I found a scorpion in my room. OH and there was also a 3 foot long cotton mouth snake in my driveway not too long ago. And not too long before that a scorpion fell from the ceiling in the bathroom. Yes. It fell. From. The. Cieling. And also, often times garden snakes somehow find their way inside. My mom stepped on one barefoot. There's always possums that get into the yard, a skunk sprayed our dog, and a bobcat was in my neighbors yard. Just wanted to let you all know that I'm LIVING IN HELL.
