Lacuna! She and her brother Warden were adventurers for hire, diving into crypts and ruins in search of magic artifacts for their clients. It payed well, it was fun, and they were careful enough of lingering curses that there was no true risk on their end. Well, up until Lacuna and her rival, a pirate captain named Mazarine, got into a bit of a conflict at the wrong place and time. It wasn’t actually the curse that ended up killing them in the end, but they do believe it’s the reason why they’ve stuck around in some form while Warden and Maz’s crew have all passed on.
The adventuring gig is less compelling without her brother at her side, but it turns out Mazarine is good company. She intends to eventually find a way to join her brother in whatever is next, but for the time being she thinks she’s content to stick around.

I've been trying to figure out a character with a body type similar to Yzi's for ages now, but I was never able to mentally sort out how a set of arms could work on a quadrupedal form like theirs. If you don't mind me asking, how do you manage to make it so they still seem to be able to move just fine with the arms there, and where do the arms connect to the body?
I put their arms towards the center of their chest and faced downwards. This does restrict them from certain arm motions. I place them here so that there is still plenty of rib space for movement and it the arms will still be functional as well as balanced. The long large tail is also there to off set the long body and even them out. I still have some issues with their neck(which is why I cheat and usually cover it with their hair or clothes) as a thin upright human neck will just look off. Most multi limbed creatures I make are quadrupedal as it is easier to fiddle with their anatomy without going full centaur.
Here are two more examples of six limbed creatures with similar designs to Yzi. (Arc and, newly colored to match their dragon, Florin)
I have a similar but slightly different style for adding wings, most similar to Florin’s design from above.
And finally, a far from human example with Yarrow a personal character. He’s like an extreme of Yzi’s proportions.

Guess who finally found more inspiration to work on more fake apparel ideas? :D The site has, unfortunately, not added any useful, practical marine apparel since my last art post. So! It’s up to me to sketch more, obviously. They’ll have to get the message eventually right? …… Right?
The designs above are described as follows (left to right, top to bottom):
