Back in 2011 we decided to start doing a series of interviews with friends and people we found interesting, the first one of the series was Photopgrapher Todd Jordan, we though that now would be the right time to put it on the blog and let you read it.

Name one good song, one good movie and one good place?

"Stretch Out and Wait" - listened to that one a lot through January. Maybe had something to do with the lady being out of town. "Mystery Train" - could watch most of J Jarmusch repeatedly., Kingston, NY - hometown... somethings and places you have to leave alone for a long period of time in order to allow yourself to sort of rediscover it and really find all the good and beauty of it. What's your favorite thing to do in your free time? Make food. Food always taste better when you make it for yourself. Well, not always but... What is the biggest challenge you face in your line of work and how do you overcome it? Ha. Getting work is difficult in my line of work. At least for me right now. Keep on keepin' on. Dont get caught up. Stay busy. Idle time is the devil's play thing. What fashion trend do you currently despise? Floppy beanies. Cannot believe this shit is still going on. Name three specific clothing pieces you can't live without. Good socks, clean boxers, and black denim. Currently, what are the most played songs on your iPhone? Wow. I just check my itunes "Top 25 Most Played" and its fucking embarassing. I'm more of a radio and pandora guy these days. Where do you want to go next and how are you planning to get there? Maine and by car. I think I'll go in February actually. The main reason for this is because I just watched Anthony Bourdain's episode on Maine like 2 nights ago. If I had to choose one person's footsteps to follow it would be his. Do you belong to any cults at the moment? If yes, which one(s)? Are there still some cults around? I've always thought it would be best to just start one myself. But my cult wouldn't end in mass suicide or anything. I'm not sure what our objective would be. What are you absolutely terrible at? Making plans. What's your favorite place to eat in the city? Damn... I seriously cannot narrow that down to one spot. New York City is just the biggest and best restaurant in the world. What is a delicacy that you never want to taste? - That like half hatched chicken in the egg thing. Or chicken embryo thing that I think Koreans eat. Let me google that real quick... Okay, its called Balut. "A balut is a fertilized <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fertilized> duck <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck> embryo <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embryo> that is boiled alive and eaten in the shell." Fuck that shit. It's not even a delicacy though its like street food. Thinking about this shit in the state that im in right now makes me feel a little sick.
