I don’t remember how I stumbled upon this book. I believe I was on Twitter and The Cut mentioned it and I instantly became fascinated. I checked out the website and took a glance at the survey. Here are some questions from it:

WHEN DO YOU FEEL AT YOUR MOST ATTRACTIVE?

DO YOU NOTICE WOMEN ON THE STREET? IF SO, WHAT SORT OF WOMEN DO YOU TEND TO NOTICE OR ADMIRE?

WAS THERE A MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE WHEN SOMETHING “CLICKED” FOR YOU ABOUT FASHION OR DRESSING OR MAKE-UP OR HAIR? WHAT? WHY DID IT HAPPEN THEN, DO YOU THINK?

IS THERE ANY FASHION TREND YOU’VE REFUSED TO PARTICIPATE IN AND WHY?

So on and so forth. I remember when I decided to do something about my wardrobe — I was walking around New York City and noticed women wearing trenchcoats. That was when I told myself I would achieve that look and dress more timeless and classic.  It wasn’t until June when I took it seriously and started cleaning out my closet and rebuilding my wardrobe.

I just started this book and will quote it here and there. It’s really great so far!
