"Festival, huh? Sounds like fun! Who’s with me?"

"Heck yes! Let's go!"

[ The pegasus hovers around the man a bit, zooming in towards him a few times. ]

"There's a party? How... how awesome! Let's party, everypony!"

[ The mare fluttered into the air, circling in the air a few times in excitement. ]

[ Indeed, Rainbow wanted nothing more than to fly, as it was her greatest passion in life (and even tied into her element, as performing the Sonic Rainboom was what had led her to Ponyville to meet her friends in the first place. It didn’t seem fair that she couldn’t fly at least as much as Fluttershy, but… Well, she’d have to deal with it, or earn her ability to fly back little by little. ]

"I know it’s huge! That’s why I wanna fly everywhere… Oh! But at least I’m not alone. Guess who came with me? Tank!"

"Oh Rainbow Dash! I’m so glad you brought Tank. Now he won’t be worried about you and Angel has someone to play with."

  { While her excitement was obvious, it was soft as well. Although brought was probably not the right word as they had been taken, it had yet to dawn on the pegasus just yet. Besides, what really mattered was that the turtle had not been separated from the other. Being separate with a pet was not an easy thing. As neither of them knew exactly how long they would be in this new place, it was of great importance to have their companions. Surely her little bunny would be happy to see Tank. }

[ Oh! Neat! Angel was here, too. At least Tank wouldn't be alone. Maybe Rainbow could leave the tortoise with Fluttershy sometimes, too, just in case she'd be out and about flying all day (if she ever could do that, that is).

With a smile, the mare fluttered off the ground over to her friend. ]

"Yeah, it's nice to not be alone. It's even better with other ponies around here, ya know? But there are a lot of strange-looking creatures with pink skin and everything!"

"Thanks! Isn’t it a great name?!"

[ She loves her name. It’s the most awesome pony name, after all. ]

"Your name is unique, too! It’s pretty cool!"

[ The mare watches him do the hair-spin thing, and blinks in confusion, quirking a brow. But ultimately, she doesn’t say anything. ]

"Man, I’d be lost without my wings…!"

"Are they something you use a lot?"  Well, duh, of course they were, considering how distraught she seemed over them.  In Ray’s defense, creatures like her weren’t very common in his world.  

"Maybe they’ll give you longer flight times, soon!"  He quickly switches back to optimism to cover up his lack of knowledge.  "I heard eventually that happens while you’re here!  I’m know hoping I get my flight back."

"Well, of course! What's Rainbow without the Dash?"

[ Her wings allowed her flight, to compete and soar through the sky - she couldn't imagine life without them. When Discord took them off her during his stupid little 'trial,' she had been completely lost.

With a flap of her wings, Rainbow lifted herself off the ground, just to show the other creature how much she preferred it to walking on her hooves. ]

"Thanks! I hope so, too! For the both of us!"

"Skittles?"

[ What were Skittles? They sounded like somepony’s name. ]

"What’re those?"

[And you quickly run into the nearest store, reemerging in minutes while opening the little red bag.]

[and you offer a handful to the pony.]

[ Rainbow watched the other dash away, unsure if she was supposed to follow or not. Staying where she was, it didn't take long for Terezi to return with little candy-like objects. They were rainbow, too, but they reminded the mare of Pinkie Pie above all else (like most candy did). ]

"Uh... No thanks."

[ She wasn't gonna just eat something some stranger offered her. ]

[ True to Fluttershy’s element, she was willing to help Rainbow find a solution. But the blue mare was sure she could figure it out, or earn her flight back all on her own. Still, she appreciated Fluttershy’s offer. ]

"No, you don’t… have to. Argh! I heard that we can earn things like this back if we take part in their ‘experiments’. I don’t like this one bit, but if I can’t fly outta here, I gotta wait it out!"

[ Unfortunately… ]

   { The pink haired one could not help but feel bad for being unable to provide more help. It was obvious that Rainbow would not be able to completely feel content until she was able to fly without much of a time limit. Or at least, until she could fly for a longer amount of time than she currently could. }

      "Okay, if you’re sure."

   { The best thing to do was be optimistic by focusing more on the fact that there was a way for them to lessen their restrictions. Though she was not quite sure what exactly the ‘experiments’ contained. }

   "Oh yes, I’ve heard that too. Maybe you’ll be able to work things out by participating. Until then, you can explore. This place is very big."

 Rayman beams, glad the other seems so friendly.  

"I’m Rayman!  And yeah, I guess so.  Let me keep my fist powers, but."

The limbless boy’s hair spins around, but nothing really happens.  Just…stays there one the ground.  A wind gust doesn’t even come out of it like it usually would.  

"I’m doing fine without it, though."

[ The blue pegasus lights up; another pony from home! Not just anypony, either - one of her best friends! Pinkie hadn't been kidding - Rarity seems to be in the city, too! If only they could find Applejack and Twilight - then their whole group would be here. ]

"Rarity! What's up?"

Rayman can’t help but grin at seeing the pony.  A blue animal that could talk?  This was the exact familiarity he was looking for.  The poor pony seems peeved, though, so he gives a slight wave, trying to, most likely horribly, comfort her.

"At least they let you have some time, they took my flight away completely….I’m Rayman, by the way!"

[ Rainbow... isn't sure what this creature is. But he - he? she? it? they? - claims to be able to fly, so... Maybe if the other isn't a pony, they're some sort of animal or... something. She can't place what's going on exactly, but it's not a huge deal right now;

This other creature can fly! Or, at least, has the ability to, but was limited, too! ]

"They took it away? Completely? Oh... I'm... That's horrible..." 

[ Good thing they didn't take her wings away... She can't even imagine... ]

"Nice to meetcha. I'm Rainbow Dash!"

"Limited it?!" Pinkie gasped dramatically before it was quickly overtaken by another smile. 

"Well, there’s plenty of other ways to get up in the sky!” Not really. “You could… Tie a bunch of balloons around yourself! Ooh! Ooh! Or you could hop around really high up like me! Or tame a dragon and ride it! Ooh, I wanna tame a dragon too! Or you could make a machine like the one Tank has! Doesn’t that sound so super duper exciting?!”

"Heh! Good thinking, Pinkie, though I'd much rather use my wings!"

[ With a flap of her wings, Rainbow hovers around her pink friend, zooming around effortlessly. She wants so desperately to soar around the city, but with only fifteen minutes, it seems impossible...

Oh! But something Pinkie said reminds the mare of somepony who came to the city with her. ]

"Oh, speaking of Tank, he came with me!"

[ As if out of nowhere, Rainbow pulls her pet out to show her friend, showing him to her. Nuzzling the tortoise, she smiles. ]

[ Rainbow was so ready to play this new game. Her new friend, Fudou, had introduced her to this ‘soccer,’ explaining its rules and objectives. After hearing about it, the blue mare determined that it was definitely something she could get into. She was really into sports in general, anyway, so why not?! The only downside was that Rainbow couldn’t use her wings as much as she liked (though she had been saving her time in the air today for this particular game).

She was gonna play, and she was gonna win! …Despite being new to soccer.

Fudou found her rather quickly, waving his hoof (hand?) to her. She trotted over to him, a smile on her face. ]

"Hey, Fudou! What’s up? You ready to play?!"

[ She noticed the ball in his hands - a black and white pattern stretched all the way around it. It was neat-looking. ]

[Fudou could tell Rainbow Dash was excited, and it was refreshing. The idea of playing soccer with a blue pony—or rather, blue pegasus, was still a little daunting, but Rainbow seemed to have the right attitude to do the job. He hated when people didn’t try at all. He patted the soccer ball roughly in response to her question, making his own emphasis.]

[Despite his usual calm demeanor, he was obviously pumped. Excitement was contagious, after all, and Fudou was no exception. The mohawked boy pointed over his shoulder with his thumb in the direction he came.]

I saw a large enough field back that way. Let’s get going.

[ Rainbow was definitely one to play sports, and was always up for learning new ways to compete. An athlete to the core, the blue mare was quite glad there were others in this city that liked to play sports! Even if she'd never heard of soccer, she could learn - and maybe take Fudou flying sometime! (First, she'd need to figure out how to do that, of course)

Placing her hoof on the ball, she leaned down and sniffed at the ball. Ponies usually competed with their wings or horns, in races or magic contests respectively, and she didn't know why 'humans' enjoyed kicking or swatting around balls like these, but hey - who cared? She could definitely enjoy this! ]

"You'll have to explain the rules to me first, but yeah! Let's go! Race you"

[ Without warning, the pegasus took off into the sky, flying in one short burst in the direction he pointed. ]
