"Okay!" She replied, following after the blonde and half bouncing. Letty really hoped that Cliff would say yes to them heading out to the town, especially since Allen had come up with such a fun idea.
"Weeelllll, Rickās sleeping since he was up all last night, and Chelsyās probably in the garden? And- and, I figured it was time to play with Allen! Youāre lots of fun too, even though youāre always reading."
Honestly, the silver haired girl liked playing with all the other children in the orphanage, but it was just easier to spend time with Rick and Joshua and Chelsy. That didnāt mean she didnāt enjoy the time she spent with Allen and Stella, though, it just took a bit to figure out activities that worked for everyone.
It seemed like an odd question to Letty, wondering why she wasnāt playing with one of the others.
-----ā Allen nods gently, shoes clicking softly as he makes his way down the hall. He cocks his head side-to-side for a moment before nodding, "Makes sense I guess. I think reading is fun, though. You should try it more often."
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā They only have to walk for a moment more before they reach the door leading into Cliff's room. The boy turns to the other, smile softly placed on pink lips. He turns back toward the door and raps on it quietly. They wait. And eventually Cliff opens up, expression confused.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Without hesitation, Allen quickly explains how Letty and him wish to go into town and would like to borrow (and he specifically used that word, as there was a loose promise of Cliff may be getting the money back eventually) to buy some pastries. The eldest agrees and hands them both a ten dollar bill.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Well... you ready to go then? We have enough to go to a cafe and maybe even buy a book!" The child beams, grin toothy and wide. With a skip in his step, he starts to head toward the front door.
