Tom Mison’s got a bit to do with it I think. I think Tom Mison is really special. That character of Ichabod Crane is gorgeous. There’s nothing like that really and Tom is so good in this you know. He’s so charming and so authentic in that role. He’s a perfect actor as well as a really nice man. I think that’s had a bit to do with it.

She’s a very intense woman. Tom and I have a lot in common, I suppose. We both come from pretty strict theater backgrounds, and so there’s a certain dialog and certain sense of humor that we share, which we enjoy a lot. Nicole is a very serious actor. She really is. She works so hard and she takes it all so seriously, so it’s a very different relationship. With Nicole it’s very respectful. And she’s a sweetheart but really when you’re working it’s very very full on. Whereas Tom and I gag around a lot, that’s probably the main difference. But that’s just us being boys really. And because we have quite a lot in common even though there’s a large age difference, and particularly in the theater work, that’s why it works out the way it is.
