#Erik Garner was suspected of selling cigarettes without taxing them. He wasn't a murderer, or drug smuggler. The medical examiner said cause of death was a chokehold. In a country where we are trying to garner trust between people and law enforcement, this doesn't bode well at all. Also I don't believe that investigations should be done by fellow officers. At the least it should be outside law enforcement handling the investigation. Prosecutors should' t be local, conducting the grand jury investigation, it should come from the outside.He wasn't fighting, he had his hands up. My heart Is heavy over the conflict in these supposed United States of America. We as a country have a lot to do to get this "Trust Issue" of law enforcement resolved. Praying for change..,,
