the thing about being "good with kids" is all it takes is literally just not trying to control and mould them with every interaction. it's just being a normal person and engaging with them through normal interactions like having conversations and playing games. it's just being genuine and friendly and not perceiving them as lumps of wet clay you are there to shape. "oh you're so good with kids" thanks it's because I think they are people

Quoiromantic : a romantic orientation, or lack thereof, that can be considered to be on the aromantic spectrum. Also called WTFromantic. It has multiple definitions:
One is not sure if they know what romantic attraction is, and therefore cannot tell if they experience it or not. / One finds the concept of romantic attraction inaccessible, inapplicable, and/or nonsensical. / One has trouble distinguishing romantic attraction from other types of attraction, such as platonic or sensual attraction. / One cannot find a better term because their orientation is too complicated/no other terms fit; a catch-all for those who fall on the aromantic spectrum but cannot define themselves past that. / One doesn't experience romanticism in a traditional manner. / One cannot completely or strongly understand romantic attraction/desire.
45 year-old man, Chad Michael Watts, attacked a group of children protesting ICE in #Texas while wearing a read MAGA hat. The youth bravely fought back and defended themselves.
The far-Right carries out violence in support of Trump and threatens our freedom, our children and working-class communities everywhere.
Proof that Gen Z knows how to handle fascists. When attcked, they don't compromise, cry for civility, or tear a piece of paper behind their attacker's back.
They. Fight. Back.
Good for you, kids. Fuck those fascist bootlickers up!
Pretty much sums up why I can't do any autobiographical work. Everything in that capacity (biopics, dating profiles, resumes, even personal journals) is performative subjectivism: I get to interpret my actions however I want & show only what I want you to see. It's cherry-picking, obfuscation, lies of omission, disinformation, fraud.
At best it's a little white lie to impress someone. At worst it's a lying, narcissistic, pedophile president covering up all evidence of an international, child-trafficking, elitist sex ring. It's why freedom of the press is so important.
Always pay attention to the man behind the curtain!
How I see any pet dog when called by their owner. Just big ol' derpy-doofs.
Jonathan Ross was not going to let an LGBT mother just drive away without submission. He performed the 'scared cop' persona for a few seconds, then code switched back with "fcuking bitch" and walked away.
It's pure evil.

The Good Place (2016-2020)
brah
The Good Place’s take on morality is so important to me. It never suggests that being good is easy or straightforward - quite the opposite - but it says, over and over again, that we need to try because we’re all people and we all matter.
have I yelled enough by this point that Good Place is one of the best shows of past decade period
Such a fantastic series. I wholeheartedly agree. I want to make so many gifs from this in response to morally ambiguous posters. (Always happy to steal any gifs others have made, tho)
basically my opinion on many many things is “you should be allowed to do that and i should be allowed to be uncomfortable with it and the government and law should not be involved in this whatsoever”
Bit of advice: never play "The Floor is Lava" competitively with this guy.
People with a six-grade reading level or lower do not understand certain concepts, implied messaging, complicated messaging, and overall themes. They lack comprehension skills.
They have not learned to get past literal definitions. Unless the person says 'I am a racist', they need the racism explained to them. They do not understand how someone like Charlie Kirk said racists things.
Great video by @sunnydaejones.
Learning, analyzing, empathizing, & imagining. Reading IS antifascism. It's no wonder the GOP continues to defund public schools & MAGA keeps burning books.
Fight fascism. Read.
