You could do “stop kicking me!” with Emilalli AND “did you eat all the popcorn?” with T o n y S t a r k (oh boy, I'm so evil).
I mean I don’t know if I’d call any of those evil because you see:
Emil opened thedoor, stopped and stared at the small room he and Lalli had beenshown to.
”There’s onlyone bed!” he called down the stairs.
”I am positivethe two of you can make it work!” Mikkel called back.
Emil let out asigh and stepped into the room, Lalli following close behind. Theyput their backpacks down and Emil sat on the bed, looked at Lalli.Lalli was paler than usual, dressed in both his own and Emil’ssweaters. He stood quietly in the middle of the room, waiting forEmil to tell him what to do.
Lalli tilted hishead and Emil leaned against the wall.
”Do we share ordo you want me to sleep on the floor?”
”Floor”, Lalliconfirmed and started sliding down under the bed. Emil grabbed himand sat him on the bed.
”You are notsleeping on the floor while you are sick. No way. Either we share orI sleep on the floor.”
”Yeah well, atleast you won’t get sicker.”
”Okay then”,Emil yawned and stretched. ”Bed now? I feel like I could sleep foreons!”
Lalli nodded andthey changed into their pyjamases before getting into the bed. Emiltook the spot closest to the wall and Lalli curled up next to him, somehow still leaving enough room for him to move around a little. Hedidn’t need to though, he fell asleep the moment his head hit thepillow.
He woke up withhis face pressed against the wall and something repeatedly hittinghis calves. He blinked, pulled the cover over his head. Whatever itwas hit him harder and he turned around. Gray eyes stared at him andhe groaned.
”Kicking mewon’t make you warmer.”
”I’m not the onekicking!”
”You wouldn’twake. Tried shaking.”
Emil pulled a handover his face and sighed.
”I’m awake now, what do you want?”
Lalli turned hisback towards Emil, slid closer and pulled Emil’s arm around himself.Emil shook his head, buried his face in Lalli’s hair and laughed.
Tony had been in his lab working onupgrades for the Avengers’ gear for the last 27 hours. He was tired, but his brain was still buzzing with ideas and noise and he knewthere was no way he was going to be able to fall asleep. He couldn’tkeep working though, it was only a matter of time before an accidentwould happen, he could tell (especially after he almost dropped thered-hot iron on his foot) and it would be a lot safer for everyone ifhe got some semblance of rest before they were called out to abattlefield again. He turned the lights out in the workshop, lockedit down and headed to the living room to watch a movie. Bowls werespread over the table and floor and he realized he had missed anothermovie night with the team. Nothing to do about it now.
”Friday, did we forget to set analarm?”
”No boss, we did, but the new set ofarrows distracted you!”
He had meant to only try out thearrows and then head straight up, but instead he had redesigned them, gotten ideas for a new shield for Steve (which he would probablynever make) and then he had gotten lost in his projects, forgettingall about time and movie nights. He stretched, grabbed a cup ofcoffee. There was still soda in the fridge and he took a couple ofcans out. He needed to hydrate and as much as Bruce insisted thatwater was the best liquid for that he prefered literally anythingwith taste. Today that meant soda.
”Hey”, something called from thecouch and Tony turned around, raising his hand to his chest. ”Wemissed you during the movies.”
”For Christ’s sake, Barton, I have aheart condition.”
Clint grinned and Tony lowered hishand, started searching through the cupboards for popcorn and comingup empty. He hmmed and glanced at Clint.
”Did you eat all the popcorn?”
”Thor helped”, Clint shrugged.”We’re out of pop-tarts as well.”
”I wanted popcorn”, Tony poutedand Clint laughed.
”Should have been here for the moviethen.”
”I house you lot and this is thethanks I get?”
”You loooove us”, Clintsing-songed.
”I do”, Tony grabbed the cans anda bag of dried blueberries and flopped down in the couch. ”Wannawatch a movie?”
”Brave is fine. Friday, start itup.”
The television sprung to life. Tonyopened one of the cans, drank half of it before putting it on thetable and leaning against Clint, stretching his legs over the couch.Clint wrapped an arm around Tony and placed a kiss on the top of hishead.
”Blueberry?” Tony asked as heopened the bag.
Clint laughed, shook his head.
”You can keep those healthy foods toyourself, I’ve had enough popcorn to not need to eat for a week.”
”You say that now, but we’re stillgoing for donuts in the morning, aren’t we?”
”Wouldn’t want to cancel our date.”
Tony snorted, slapped Clint’s leg andrelaxed against him. Clint pulled the blanket from the back of thecouch and somehow managed to wrap it around Tony without disturbinghim. Tony yawned, ate a few blueberries.
”Fri, order popcorn and pop-tarts,as well as some more dried fruit.”
”Yes boss. Anything else?”
”Did you remember to eat today?”
”Order our usual from the pizzaplace as well, we’re starving!”
”Tony, what have you been teachingyour child?”
Tony laughed, patted Clint’s leg andgave him a quick kiss.
”Just shut up and watch the movie,Legolas.”
Clint answered by giving Tony a hugbefore sliding down so he was more comfortable wedged between Tonyand the armrest. The movie rolled on, only interrupted when the pizzaarrived. After eating they both laid down on the couch, Clint on hisback and Tony resting his head on Clint’s shoulder, Clint’s armwrapped around him. They fell asleep just as the movie ended.
