I feel like Spencer wouldn’t be consistent with what he wants from his partner during sex.

Some days, when he’s mourning his dad leaving him as a child (or rather, a concept of a dad that he never got to experience) he loves it rough. He loves having someone set rules for him that are enforced. He loves being slapped or teased because he craves an authority over him. Spencer always had to figure life out himself, and take care of himself and him mom. During those days, he wants someone to make all of the decisions for him and to make him feel something; whether that be pain or pleasure.

Sometimes, Spencer wants it soft. He wants his partner to take care of him without him having to think. This is when he likes being babied and coddled by his partner, because he never got that experience as a child. His mother was always having an episode, and she was only sweet to him when she was lucid and recognized him. On days like these, he loves taking it slow, with pet names and kisses. He also loves being tired up (until Tobias Hankle happened lol) and being given pleasure whether he is overstimulated or not. He doesn’t say his safeword though, continuing only for his partner’s praise.

I think sexless moreid has a nice ring to it.

Spencer’s always had problems with touching others and germs (and just because he’s dating someone doesn’t mean that those problems go away magically, autistic people are still autistic even if they have a love interest) and there’s been some (?) canon sexual assault from his childhood, and definitely some from Cat.

Being stripped naked in front of someone else, especially if that someone is a ‘jock’ type person (the type of person who used to bully and sa Reid) would naturally be anxiety inducing.

Derek having issues with letting someone in like that since Carl abused him and took advantage of him as a child. I see him having issues being vulnerable beyond the player jock personality that he used to protect himself.

Dealing with religious issues with having sex because being homosexual ‘is a sin’. Derek believing that Spencer deserves way more in a partner than him since Carl ‘ruined’ him.

Derek misinterpreting Spencer’s anxiety toward sex as disgust for what was done to him as a child (imagine Spencer didn’t tell him of his childhood sa or this is before Cat).

I just need them both to have so many feelings about having or not having sex. I need Morgan to explode with frustration towards Spencer (after bottling it up for so long) for ‘judging him for his past abuse’, and Spencer scrambling to over explain and correct that misunderstanding because this is the only relationship he’s had, and he *really* doesn’t want to fuck this up.

I love moreid but i don’t really see anyone using the angst potential.

Morgan being conflicted with loving this nerdy kid because of how young he is.

Even if the age gap is smaller than i’m thinking (10yrs?) i feel like he would still question himself about how young Spencer is. (I mean, he calls Spencer ‘kid’ and ‘boy’ in the show.)

Morgan’s a profiler. He knows how abuse victims can become abusers later in life, and he’s terrified that he may hurt Spencer.

I just want Morgan in fics to be more hesitant with dating or acknowledging his feelings for Spencer because of how Carl hurt him in the past.

a character who truly, legitimately goes “but why does that matter?” about their feelings when someone who cares about them asks. and the sudden falling of everyone around them’s faces as they realize that this person doesn’t recognize themself as someone who needs or should be taken care of. i want Everyone to hurt. surprise at the idea, worry for them, horror at not having noticed. do you see this person who doesn’t think of themselves as a person?
