Deerhunter have announced they will play two intimate New York-area shows before departing on a European tour in May.  The band will be debuting both new songs and a new line-up.  Tickets go on sale on Friday, 9th March at 10AM EST.

Work has begun on a new album, with a single expected in mid-summer.  The band’s last release was 2015’s Fading Frontier.

New tour dates include the two New York shows on May 15th and 16th at Elsewhere and Le Poisson Rouge respectively, along with standalone shows in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Czech Republic in addition to European festival dates.
