I have been studying Russian for 2 years and I love it! The most beautiful language in the world, it can be beautiful but hard at the same time, just a challenge for me, besides that I love Russian culture! My boyfriend is Russian so I get along with his family and I can say they are amazing people. Thank you for photos, it's the best way I remember words in Russian. I like it

I've noticed with my native language and English, since I am used to their rhythms I am able to determine the stress of a word, even when I've never seen it. Do you think the same think is possible with Russian speakers, especially with the letter "o" since it changes pronunciation depending on stress? Or do you think that determining the stress of the "o" is only possible from listening or looking up the words?

I always feel like a Russian can actually determine the stress of a word, kind of the same way you described (through exposure and understanding of the language). But I won’t say anymore and let a native Russian share if they agree or disagree :)
