Out of everything I have ever lost, you hurt the most.

A glance over tea
A moment of fire
No words spoken
Just a look
I don’t know you
But my soul sees you
A touch
Fingers brushing by
Gentle and fleeting
Those eyes
Deep and bold
There’s that look again
Subtle and unassuming
Is he looking into me?
Does he look into everyone else in the room this way?
Hmmm
But that touch
A connection
I feel it my bones
A gentle glance his way once more
Curiosity stirs
The tea sinks into my soul
Wrapping my heart with stories of love
I ground myself within the music
The spirit of the tea moves through me
Love pours onto paper from my finger tips
Open heart
Open mind
Go where the love is
Lead me to the trees
I’ll meet you in the trees
That’s where my soul can dance beside yours
Find connection
And peace
The trees will tell me who you really are
And with a whisper they entice
Go where the love is
Go where the love is
Go where the love is

Winter Solstice… 🌙 🖤
May we all learn to find the stillness in the present. Embrace the darkness. And explore the depths of the inevitable changes to come. We are both at ending and beginning as the night consumes us. Simultaneously offering a goodbye to, and awaiting the return, of the sun. A moment to reflect on what has been and will be. The power of transition. I will choose rest now, and welcome the return of the light and new growth, but only when it is time. I let go what is not meant for me, and trust what is mine will come to be. 💖

minimalism is cool but have you ever had all the things you love in your room
My shoulders sore from
Holding a neck obsessed
With the sky, secrets
Cradled in careful hands
The effulgent smile of
Some sorry constellation—
Cassiopeia you are still
The loveliest to me
The wings of winter
Worn by wrens, their
Soft soaring helps me
Remember to fly
