Speak No Evil
I watched this film the other day and really enjoyed it. It's such a good thriller and is very fun to watch and figure out. I love when there's an annoying character like Ben to hate on.
I've started a new Minecraft world with the goal of it being my forever world. I haven't played Minecraft properly in a really long time and so I'm sure I'll enjoy exploring all the new features.
Today I played for about an hour and just got some of the basics like iron and a small house. I think the next thing I will work on is a food source and gathering some more resources from the mines.
I watched the devil wears prada for the first time. I don't know why I've never seen it before.
It was so good, I was rooting for the main girl the whole time! And I loved the old fashion lady she was such an icon.
I know the whole point is to not change yourself and follow your path but I still think her bf was annoying. Grown ass man complaining about his birthday.
Anyway I'm excited to watch the second one when it comes to streaming services.
Something witchy that I like to do is have a bath once a week.
I take time to reflect on my past week and think about what I will need going forward. Sometimes I need a fresh start, courage, happiness, focus. Whatever it is that I need I create a little herb bundle based on that and put it in the bath.
I like to keep it simple and just do a bit of meditation, but for special occasions I will plan things out a bit more and make it a bit more special.
I made some Afghani food and it was nice.
Obviously all the ingredients I used are British as that's all I have access to and my knowledge has only come from the internet. This is probably not very authentic, but fun none the less.
I made ghorma which was pretty nice and to go alongside it I made some bolanis.
Both were pretty tasty, but I don't know if I would make it again.
^my bolanis, they are poorly made and look like shit but we're quite tasty
Pluribus was a great show. It's short and sometimes that's nice.
Carol was annoying sometimes but as the show went on I began to really like her and root for her. I respected her determination and stubbornness.
The story was so intriguing and I was so interested to figure things out and see more of how things worked.
The ending was a little disappointing however it was very inline with the show and the characters.
Overall it was quite good and I'd recommend it.
Part one of season 4 of the walking dead feels super walking dead-y to me.
The whole set up at the prison is so cool and peaceful with all the farming. Overall it feels so homely and I loved seeing the prison and everyone feeling safe.
It was also very refreshing to see them struggle with something new, illness. I enjoyed seeing new characters take the spotlight while the usual "heros" were sick or going through what ever rick was dealing with lol.
Carol has become quite savage and with the two girls now in her care I can see why she is. It was sad to see rick tell her to leave, but I understand that there's not much else he can do when tyreese is so upset.
I understand why tyreese is acting the way he is but honestly it's still really annoying lol. He genuinely pisses me off so much, I feel like he's always against stuff and just being so whiney.
Another character, which we know I hate, is the governor. I fucking hate this guy. I was so annoyed that he came back and was angry at his manipulation of his new group. Everything he does is so unnecessary and just evil to be evil.
However my hate for him made for an amazing mid season. It took the group by surprise and honestly it was nice to see them lose a bit. I was so engaged the whole time watching and felt pretty much every emotion. I'm so sad that Herschel is dead, but they can't really go much forward in the show with his one leg tbh.
Overall it was brilliant and has set up well for the next half of the season.
Top 3:
Herschel
Carol
Michone
Bottom 3:
Governor
Tyreese
Carl
Season 3 of the walking dead was really good. You get a united group vibe from them in this season and feel invested in the relationships.
We lost Lori and some other people but I feel like they were irrelevant anyway. I'm glad that Lori is out of the way because she just causes too much drama in my opinion(though I'm not a Lori hater).
We also gained a few good characters like Michone, though I find her to be a bit annoying when she first meets the group. Also the governor was a brilliant villain, I really hated that guy.
Merle was another character I didn't like despite his "character arc". I find Merle to be so annoying and horrible. I was not a fan of his return and I'm glad he's dead so that Daryl can move on and not have to worry about him.
The only character that annoyed me more than Merle was Andrea. Honestly she was just so annoying and I can't even explain why. To be honest I never blamed her for not leaving Woodberry with Michone as everyone just wants to be safe, but her romance with the governor was just not it.
Overall this season was very good with a lot of good character development and action.
Also I just remembered that Glen was annoying as fuck this season.
Top 3;
Herschel
Maggie
Rick
Bottom 3;
Andrea
Governor
Glen
The walking dead season 2 although slow at times was enjoyable.
I liked the introduction of the farm however I feel like, as well as in the first season, there were a lot of npc characters. A lot of the characters didn't really serve a purpose and weren't explored at all. I feel like they were just there to die lol
I think there were a few good situations that forced the group to figure out their morals and how they are going to do things. The season has ended with a good core group and foundation for what they are doing in the future.
Daryl really became a good member of the group, as well as Herschel towards the end. However I really can't get behind Lori being pregnant as it will just cause problems in future.
I'm so glad that Shane is dead, that man was just evil. Honestly he was such a problem he had to go, always causing drama on the farm. I didn't really feel much for Sophia or dale if I'm being honest. Sophie wasn't really explored as a character much and dale was just getting quite weird with Andrea.
Top 3;
Maggie
Rick
Daryl
Bottom 3;
Shane
Dale
Carol
I have been rewatching the walking dead and season 1 is so good.
The intro to the world and all the characters is so good. I feel like you get to know the characters really quickly and naturally which gets you so invested. The moment when Rick finds Lori and Carl makes me feel so emotional lol
I wasn't really a fan of the CDC part, it came across a bit rushed to me. But overall a great season.
Top 3 characters; bottom 3 characters;
Rick Ed
Glen Shane
TDog Merle
I went to see the new scary movie and I didn't really like it. It didn't really seem to have a plot, everything just seemed like random nonsense.
Also I think the only jokes in the film were based on black and gay stereotypes, which was kinda tiresome. Like can we have a more original joke please.
Overall I thought it was super mid and was quite disappointed.
I've had this blog for years, it's documented a lot of my thoughts. Specifically the unhealthy ones, but I'm kinda in my healing era ngl
Trying to figure out what a healthy relationship is is so difficult
I want attention but I'm scared to receive it
I love you so much that I hate you
