━━━━━━ ˟ ⊰ ✰ She was beginning to discern how empty her schedule abruptly shifted & became without her typical quantity of schoolwork. Whilst she had her part-time job, Orihime liked keeping busy as best as she could. Today was one of the days she finished at work a little on the early side, so she’d found herself in the school’s library, simply for no reason other than to find a tranquil place that wasn’t her conventional dorm quarters. Laptop in hand, Inoue made her way over to the only table he could find that had vacant seats. A pleasant smile crossed her features as she addressed the woman already sitting there. ❝Hey.❞ Started, trying to get her attention first, it seemed like she was pretty deep in thought about something. ❝Mind if I, uh, sit? Promise I won’t disturb you!❞ Giggled lightly. Orihime didn’t even discern how the other was comparable to her, they seemed doppelgängers.
it's true, she was lost in deep thought, hard at work on her PHILOSOPHY PAPER, but stuck delving into the depths of HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS. ideas of aristotle and others of his time infiltrated her mind, completely blocking her from the OUTSIDE WORLD. and so the other girl went mostly ignored, not out of malice, simply because mami was unaware of her presence. ( it was a bad habit of hers, really, to get so lost in thought that she is separated from the world around her, but what is she to do? ) it takes the other sitting down to snap her from reality, head canted slightly to the side. ( when did she get there? )
" ano...yeah, sure. " a little late, as she had already SAT DOWN by that point, but mami was stil reeling back into reality, not quite there yet — why did this girl LOOK SO MUCH LIKE HER? she blinks ( once, twice, ) and rubs her eyes — perhaps she was imagining things — but alas, when she looks back, the girl is still there, almost the spitting image of herself. " what, uh...WHAT'S YOUR NAME? " surely this was just a coincidence, right? ( she got her looks from her father, but as far as she knew, he had little family left... ) she'd shake her head and hold out a hand, patiently waiting for the other to introduce herself.
