Honestly don't understand why people are getting offended by Alastor having a bob after he died, like I thought it was pretty clear that his form in Hell is, in a way, a literal punishment???

1, he's a deer demon. That's a mockery of how he died.

2, his teeth are yellow. It literally ruins one of his proudest features, his SMILE.

Like, it's obvious that Alastor's learned to embrace his appearance since then, but there's no way you can convince me that he was happy with his look in the beginning. It's a punishment.

Taking away his curls and brown hair and eyes is very likely just another punishment, because it probably takes away the features he got from his mother.
