That's easy. Sure, I like Ilyas. My instinct is to call him 'good people' but to be honest ... it's a lot more complicated than that. He's particular, not for everybody. If you ask him, he'll say he's for nobody.

I like Ilyas because ... he feels honest. He's got a bleak view on the world and that feels right to me. He's harsh but at the same time he takes care of those animals like it's his calling. So, he is kind and he does care ... and I think a lot of his harshness is a way for him to protect himself. I think ... no, I know caring hurts, so, I get it.

When it's less bad I like being around him because he doesn't really expect anything from me or want anything -except to be left alone. And sometimes I can't leave him alone because he's fun to bother. Other times, I can leave him alone because the meanish things he says, feel very true.

He's good to hang around though because when I'm with him I feel like I'm not really there, except sometimes he takes notice, if I annoy him enough...
