my host mom is the best
i was there, in my sweatpants, feeling all depressed and crying because i had just talked to my parents and got homesick and stuff, and then she came, gave me a big hug and said 'go get dressed, im talking u to the bookstore'. IM FEELING WAY BETTER NOW, LOVE U HOST MOM
getting homesick for the first time
i've been here for 2 months already, and i didn't feel homesick for real yet, until now. I miss my mom, i miss my dad, i miss my friends, and i still have like, 8 months here.
i feel like i finally find my place. i mean, isn't like i dont like brazil, my family and my friends, but here i feel, idk, like this is where im supposed to be. i feel like i could stay here forever. i have been living forever in the same small freaking city, with the same people always telling me what i am supposed to be, how i should act, what should i say, and is so good to start a new life. i can be whatever i wanna be, without people that think they know me telling what to do. and this is simply amazing to be here now, to feel free.

well, my host family is AWESOME. like, really awesome. Today was my first day of school and it was really scary, but it was ok at all... i thought it would be worse lol
My city is really beautiful and my school is so big that i got lost a few times lol

JUST TALKED TO MY HOST FAMILY
on skype, and sdfjbaipuvbapidbv they were so cool and kind! It was really nice to talk to them in there, i hope they liked me as much as i liked them.
2 weeks
Only two more weeks and I'm leaving. I just can't wait. My host sister keep sending me e-mails asking things about me and saying that she can't wait to have me there, and it's just so good to know that she's as excited as I'm. My host family is really kind, we talk everyday, they ask about me and about brazil, and today they told me they're planning to take me on a camping trip! I never did that before, so I'm really excited.
I wish the time could run 'til september 3rd, but in the other hand I know I'll miss my parents and my friends very much, and that it will be difficult in the first days. But everything is gonna be alright, I got the best host family in the world and I'm going to an amazing place.

I'm so happy, guys. It arrived last night and I was so happy I couldn't stop crying. I sent them an e-mail immediately and already got the answer, they were so nice! The family is the mother, the father and two lovely girls, the older is 12 years old and the other is 3. They're so so so cute! Now I'm even more excited to get there and meet them.

the city i'm staying in Canada is the city of Barrie. It's located in Ontario, on the western shore of Lake Simcoe, and one hour from Toronto. It's not a big city, but isn't so small. I dont know so much about it, but soon i'll post more about it c:
