Hiii guys, today Undertale turned 10. 10 years, a decade, wow.. to celebrate I thought the best idea I could have is redraw something from 2015 . A piece I was super proud of when I drew it for one of if not my favorite game. I was 11 back then. I’m 21 now. There’s not enough words to truly convey the impact Undertale has had on me, it was, in every meaning of the words, life changing. The game taught me so much about love, and kindness, and accepting those around you, about shaping the world with your actions. About loving yourself, and trusting your inner strength. When the game found me, I was at a really bad point, and Undertale told me everything I needed to hear to keep going. There’s not many games that can speak directly to the player the way this one does. Through this game I found strength, and willpower, inspiration, creativity, and laughter. I’ve made so many friends through Undertale, or bonded with ones I currently have through it and, it’s just such a wonderful feeling to know it still has effects on my day to day life even ten years later. I’ve changed as I have grown, but Undertale, and in addition, Deltarune, have remained a constant in my life. No matter where I am, whatever point in life I land on, these games have shaped me and taught me so much. And I owe so much to it, friends and my girlfriend, and my life itself. I don’t think I would be here if the game didn’t exist, truly. It’s weird to have a passion project some guy made do this much for a person, but it’s just one experience out of hundreds like mine. I’ll never have enough words. Thank you, Undertale.
