Elias was unpredictable- Andie had learned that early on. But one thing that she always knew to expect from him, was if he got mad, he would hurt her. Sometimes she did or said things that she knew would upset him, sometimes it was unintentional, sometimes it was something completely out of her control. No matter the cause, she became the target. He would lash out- hurt her, or otherwise punish her however he saw fit in the moment. This time, however, it was the wall that took a beating.

When Andie saw the telltale signs of his anger, she steeled herself for whatever would come her way. And though it wasn’t her way that it came, she still flinched (stepping back, wide eyes watching him cautiously) when he reeled back and punched the wall, his fist going straight through the drywall. There would definitely be bruising; it wouldn’t be the first time he’d bruised his knuckles from throwing a punch.
