Erica flopped down onto her chair as she placed her jacket on
the side of her desk. She’d just finished processing a new criminal
and her hand was aching from all the writing. She picked up a piece
of paper, scrunched it up and threw it at Stiles, his desk was right
across from hers. “Hey, got an interesting case that I can hitch onto?
I need to get up and do something that isn’t damn paperwork.”
the evening was sure to be fairly MEDIOCRE. stacked full of THEORIES. theories to be crossed out with an ugly red line. theories to be circled in VIBRANT green. staring blankly at the evidence strewn out across his desk. very MEDIOCRE indeed. a piece of paper that hits him in the shoulder & then lands, almost gracefully, onto the evidence he’s supposed to be working with brings him out of himself. ❛uh - i’ve got a robbery & a SUPPOSED suicide that i wouldn’t mind getting a second opinion on.❜
