"ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another sidemen pub quiz!" simon says to the camera, "today we have bought in some new participants - our beautiful wives." the room erupts in applause. "okay let's introduce our teams for today."
"we have went for 'sherlock homies'" josh says, his team being him, freya and chris. the room giggles a little.
ethan, faith and freezy are next, "we are called 'www' because we are white, white and white" ethan says, laughing.
harry, you and arthur are the next team, "we are named 'the quizzards of oz.'" harry says, making everyone laugh.
"we are called 'simon's lovers'" jj says, his team being him, talia and deji, to which simon says, "i understand jj and deji but how is talia fitting into that category." and earns a glare from talia.
"we are called the 'winning team' because we are gonna win this thing." tobi says, his team has him, becky and george.
"ok, so i think 'the quizzards of oz' is the best name and hence your gets the first point of the game, and also you get to make the first rule." simon says and your team cheer while the others groan.
"so the first rule is that whenever arthur raises his hand everyone must follow suit or else they'll have to drink." harry announces.
"great let's get started with the first round! i will ask you six questions on geography and you will have 10 seconds to write down your answer for each question." simon says and starts saying the questions, " 1) name two countries that has the letter 'x' in it. 2) how tall is the mount everest, closest answer wins. 3) what is the tallest mountain in africa. 4) what is the capital of laos. 5) what rocks are made due to the cooling of lava. 6) what is the only ocean named after a country."
when the first question is announced and you answer immediately, "mexico and luxemberg." you keep your voice low so that others don't hear.
"yes! you genius." harry exclaims, kissing your cheek.
"i feel like i am third wheeling already." arthur says, rolling his eyes fondly, causing you to blush.
"mount everest is approximately 29000 feet tall. mount kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in africa. vientiane is the capital of laos. igneous rocks are made of lava, and indian ocean is the only ocean named after a country." you answer quickly, both harry and arthur stare at you like you have grown 10 heads. "what?" you question, your eyebrows knitting together.
"you are so smart." arthur says, his voice filled with surprise.
"i am so turned on right now." harry says, seriously, not even trying to joke.
"harry!" you exclaim, making both him and arthur laugh.
"that was really impressive, y/n." arthur comments.
"nah, it wasn't all that." you say, brushing off the compliment.
"darling, you literally might have cooked josh zerkaa." harry says, giving josh a cheeky grinning which results in a confused look from josh.
your team won the first round, with six points, ethan's team came last and they made a rule that everybody must drink from their left hand else they will have to drink.
"next round is a bonus round, a member from each team will have to come up on the stage." everyone sends one member, arthur decides to go from your team with chris, frezzy, deji and tobi. "okay, so this round, everyone will have to do keepie ups for a minute, the person who does the most in a minute will get a point." chris wins the round and his team gets a point.
"y/n!" ethan screams your name, making you slip the drink in your hand. "right hand drinking!" he exclaims. "that's a shot, simon!!!"
"unfortunately, that's a shot for you, y/n." simon tells you and you groan.
"i don't want to do it." you say to harry and give him a little pout, harry sighs and takes a shot on behalf of you.
"hey! harry that's not allowed." ethan says, "you can't do a shot for her."
"why not, mate?" harry asks, already downing your shot.
"simon, that isn't allow." ethan complains.
"if he wants to do a shot on behalf of her, he totally can." simon says, shrugging his shoulder, at which ethan screams 'simp' to harry.
"so does that mean you would do a shot for me too?" arthur says, teasingly.
"are you just as pretty, smart and wonderful as her? no, you aren't, so i am not doing a shot for you." harry tells him, making arthur gasp dramatically.
"okay, our next round is english round, i will ask you guys six questions and you will have 10 seconds for each of them." simon says and then read out the question, "1. name three shakespeare plays. 2. who wrote 'pride and prejudice'. 3. what is the only english word ending with 'mt'. 4. what word phonetically imitates, resembles, or suggests a sound that it refers to. 5. what punctuation is used to indicate ownership or belonging. 6. how many lines are in a sonnet."
"what the hell are these questions?" arthur says from beside you.
"yeah, baby, this is your field." harry tells you.
"ok fine." you start, "romeo and juliet, macbeth, and merchant of venice are three shakespeare plays. obviously, jane austen wrote pride and prejudice."
"obviously." both arthur and harry say, sarcastically, making you laugh.
"dreamt is the only english word that ends with mt. onomatopoeia is the word that imitates sounds. apostrophe is used to indicate belonging, and a sonnet has 14 lines." you tell them, both of them grinning really hard, arthur because he knows you guys are going to win and harry because he is incredibly proud of you.
"yoooo mrs. wroetoshaw, you gotta help us with this." ethan says from across the room.
"nah, mate, she ain't helping." harry says, "figure it out yourself."
"come on, bog, share her with us." ethan teases.
"fuck off, mate, i am not sharing." harry says and pulls your chair closer to him, making you giggle.
your team wins again and simon calls up one member from each team to compete in a challenge, harry, ethan, josh, jj and george. "okay so this is going to be golf challenge. each person will get one try to shoot the ball as far as they could, the furtherest wins."
everyone but harry groans, "simon, harry's going to win this, mate." ethan says.
"you don't know that. you might win." simon says, smiling to himself.
"what do you mean?!" ethan exclaims. "look at these strong arms and this huge biceps, mate." he says, squeezing harry's arms, making the room laugh.
as ethan predicted, harry wins easily with a difference of 100 yards between him and josh, who came second. your team scores 3 points that round. "okay, so jj's team is last currently." simon says, laughing at jj, deji and talia.
"that's because the two of them won't listen to me!" talia says, annoyed by jj and deji, "i got all the answers correct but jj won't put them down correctly."
the room laughs, "well, your team sucks." simon says, laughing at her. "but since you are last, you get to make one rule."
"our rule is if you call anyone in the this room by their most popular name then you do a shot." jj says.
"what do you mean by 'most popular name'?" simon asks for clarification.
"like you can't call me jj or ksi." jj clears up and the room agrees.
"okay so next round is a price round. i will show you guys a number of items and you will have to write down it's price the closest price in the room wins a point and the item." simon explains. "okay so the first item is a cheese grater." simon holds up a cheese grater.
"oh that's 45 pounds easily." harry says, making you and arthur gasp.
"45 pounds?!" you exclaim, "haz, you have lost your mind."
"what?" harry says, confused.
"simon." josh announces from he seat. "she just called him by his name." he says point towards you and harry.
"no, i did not." you say in defensive tone. "i called him 'haz' no one calls him 'haz'."
"to be fair, nobody calls him haz but her." simon agrees with you.
"yeah, josh, you fucking snitch." harry sass.
"you called him by his name." the room almost exclaims together. your team face plam and harry is forced to take a shot.
you put down 7 pounds for the cheese grater and simon shows the next item, "okay now we have an iphone 17 air." your team put down 800 pounds for it, the next four items are - an orange, a brikin bag, a piece of italian bach's hair, and a bottle of vodka. josh's team wins that round and yours come second.
"okay, so the people who hasn't participated in a bonus challenge will have to come up now." simon announces, you and the rest of the girls make your way up. "okay so this is a three round blindfold challenge. two people will be eliminated in the first round, then one will be eliminated in the second, and the person who wins the last round will win 3 points for their team." simon explains.
for the first round you were tasked to pour 300ml of orange juice in a glass. becky and faith are the first ones to be eliminated with both of them overfilling their glasses. the next round, you are supposed the make a sandwich blindfolded. freya is the one that is eliminated this round since she missed a few ingredients.
"okay, so for our final round, talia and y/n will have to decorate a cake blindfolded." simon announces, making you and talia groan. "the teams which are eliminated will decide the winner for this round." you try your hardest to make the cake look pretty but that was proven to be difficult since you are not able to look at the cake. luckily, talia didn't do too great either. "well done both of you, these cakes are very well decorated." simon says saractically. "okay, guys you need to vote now, write your answers on the whiteboard and reveal it together."
"okay, before you all start voting." jj interrupts, "be very logically about this, y/n's team is already leading, if they win this one too they will win easily."
"hey, hey, hey, you cannot manipulate the jury like that." harry says, sounding offended. "and my wife worked really hard on that cake, she deserves to win."
"well, so did talia." jj argues.
"nah, not as much as y/n." harry says, making the room laugh. the room votes for talia's cake to win but you still get one point for second position. "fuck you lot, she worked really hard on that." harry says, offend on your behalf.
"it's okay, haz." you say, chuckling.
"no, these ungrateful bastards don't appreciate you enough." he says, still frowning, making you laugh harder.
"okay, before we wind up and i announce the scores, one person from each team had a secret challenge, let's find out if they completed it." simon says, pointing to deji to start.
"i had to defeat three people in rock paper scissors, and i did finish it." deji says, and earns a point for this team.
"i had to go up to three people and tell them today's temperature." josh says, and earns a point.
"i had to take a shot with a person from each team and i did it with all the girls." becky says and earns her team a point.
"okay so mine was to criticise one thing about the female member in each team, but i wasn't able to complete it since i am too scared of bog fighting me for insulting his missus." frezzy says, making the room laugh.
"i had to kiss a person three times and i kissed y/n three times." harry says, proudly.
"pretty sure it was more than three times but i will let you have it." simon teases him, "okay so our winners today with 21 points is 'the quizzards of oz'! you guys each win a grand!" simon announces making you guys cheer. "with that we wrap up the video, thank you so much for watching, see you lot next time, bye!"

you put on the most serious face and say, "ethan's on tinder."
"what?!" he asks, geniunely shocked and completely believing you. "what the fuck is he doing on there? he's got a wife and a child, this is outrageous." he continues, actually fuming.
"yeah, how can people in relationships be on tinder? i hate cheaters." you add, trying your hardest not to break into a laugh.
it takes him a good two minutes before he slowly looks up at you again. "wait. a. minute." he says slowly, "how do you know that? what are you doing on tinder?"
"took you long enough, genius." you say, rolling your eyes.
"wait is it one of your pranks again?" he works it out. "i just don't believe you'd cheat on me."
"cocky bastard." you say, laughing.
"you love me." he says, grinning.

george is scrolling trough his phone when you start recording. "oh my god." you gasp.
"what?" he asks looking up from his phone.
"bach is on tinder!" you say, your jaw dropped.
"what?" he asks, his eyebrows knitting together before relaxing again. "is this is stupid trend where you pretend to be on a date app?"
"fuck you, george, how do you get it everytime?" you say, annoyed at him.
"it's not that easy to prank me." he gives you a cocky grinning.
"i will get him one day." you mutter under your breath.

arthur is eating his breakfast, still sleepy, you start recording and say "oh my god." he looks up at you and raise an eyebrow. "bach is on tinder."
"no way." he says, abandoning his breakfast. "you are joking."
"no i am not, i literally just saw him on tinder." you push.
"that's crazy, we must tell liv." he says. "i am so disappointed in him." he frowns and returns back to his breakfast. "okay, how will we tell her? i am thinking we should let her know gently-"
"arthur, i saw him a tinder." you say again, emphasising on 'i'.
"yeah, i know, i am saying we must tell liv, she doesn't deserve this betrayal." arthur says, still completely oblivious.
"arthur, that would mean i am on tinder." you say, completely losing patience.
"oh my god. what are you doing on there?!" he exclaims, "this is way too much information for 8 in the morning."
"arthur it's a prank." you say, playfully rolling your eyes.
"oh so bach is not cheating on liv. thank god my parents are not divorcing." he sighs in relief.

"oh my god, chris!" you exclaim, grabbing his attention. "guess what?"
"what?" he says, his eyes wide.
"bach is on tinder." you say.
"what?" he asks shocked. "why is he on tinder?!" you can see light goes off in his head before he asks "what are you doing on tinder?", sounding slightly upset.
"huh?" you say, playing dumb.
"you said you saw bach on tinder, what are you doing on tinder?" he asks, his tone serious. you can't hold it in anymore and start laughing. "oh it's one of your stupid pranks, isn't it?" he sighs in relief, you laugh even harder. "haha, you got me." he says, dryly, making you laugh louder. "okay enough." he says, now laughing himself.

"welcome the first group!" the room erupts in applause and two girls walk in.
"hi, my name is summer, i am 29 and i am from london, and i am here with my sister." the first girl introduces herself.
"i am anne, i am 27 and i am also from london." the second girl says.
"hello, ladies." tobi starts, "your task today is to match the couples. the lovely ladies standing there are married to these boys." tobi says pointing at you, talia, faith, freya, and ellie, you guys wave at the camera. "so let's get started."
"ok so i am thinking we should start by asking them to interact with the girls." summer says to her sister.
"yeah, ladies, can you each hug every guy here?" anne asks you guys. talia goes up first and hugs everybody. "ooo that didn't give us much."
"no, that guy at the end hated it." summer says, pointing at harry. "we can rule him out." everyone lets out a soft giggle.
faith, freya and ellie go up next and the response is almost similar. "i don't think that guy has a wife." anne says, refering to harry. "he is so awkward around all of them." the room erupts in laughter.
"what?" harry says in a high pitch voice. "i am not awkward."
"yeah sure mate." summer rolls her eyes. "okay, beautiful, you are up." she calls you up. you first hug ethan then vik, simon and josh, and then finally harry. you wrap your hands around his neck and his hands automatically find their way to your waist, his chin gently rests on your head and he releases a satisfied sigh. "there it is!" summer exclaims. "she is yours, isn't she?"
"what? it could be anyone." harry attempts to bluff.
"hell no, it's definitely her. he visibly relaxed when she hugged him, and he was grinning like crazy. they are definitely married." anne says.
"why were you grinning?" you whisper-yell to harry. "you blew our cover."
"i can't help it." he says giving you a cheeky smile.
summer and anne got three correct couples and walked away with three thousand pounds.

"okay, boys, welcome our second group!" tobi announces.
two men walk in, "hi, my name is nate, i am 34 and i am from manchester, i am here with my husband." the first man introduces himself.
"i am paul and i am 36." nate’s husband introduces himself.
"speaking from experience, when my husband compliments me, i tend to blush so we will ask you lovely ladies to compliment your husbands without telling us their names." nate explains.
freya goes first, then ellie, faith, then you. "okay, lovely, what's one thing you love the most about your husband?" nate asks.
"there are a lot of things i love about him, like the list could go on and on. he is smart, respectful and loving, but if i had to pick one thing that everyone can understand, it's gotta be his eyes, he's got beautiful eyes." you say, smiling to yourself, not glancing towards the boys to avoid making eye contact with harry.
"oh it's definitely him!" paul exclaims, pointing at harry.
"what?" harry asks, in a high pitched voice again.
"oh the moment she walked in, his entire demeanor changed, his eyes lit up and everything, and look at him right now he is blushing like crazy." paul says, the entire rooms starts laughing, you facepalm yourself.
"harry, mate, you are costing us money!" ethan shouts, making harry blushing harder.
nate and paul guess two couples correctly and walk away with two thousands pounds.

"hi my name is sheena, i am 41 and i am here with my husband." the woman introduces herself.
"i am dean, i am 41 and we are from dublin." the man continues.
"i think couples just naturally match each other’s aesthetics, so i think we should pair them up based on how they look together." sheena explains.
"yeah, i have to agree with that." dean says.
they dive straight into it, they start arranging you guys and, mix and match. they first pair talia with simon, then josh and freya, then vik and ellie, they pair faith with harry and lastly they pair you with ethan.
"yeah i think this is it." dean announces.
"no wait." sheena interupts. "the blond guy is not very happy that we paired her with the ginger man." she targets harry.
"oh yeah, he actually looks pissed." dean adds and starts laughing.
"i am not pissed, i am not pissed." harry tries his best to convience them, but his tone is laced with jealousy and anger.
"so you don't mind when i say they look good as a couple." sheena challenges him, pointing at you and ethan.
harry clenches is fists, his jaw tigtens and he offers sheena a tight smile, "i don't mind when you say that." the words come out forcefully.
"you are not conveincing anyone." sheena says, laughing harder. "okay pretties, you both can switch, please." she tells you and faith to swap.
"congratulations, you both are the first ones to get them all correct." tobi announces.
"well, it's all because of harry, thanks, mate." dean says, grinning at harry.
"cheers, mate." harry says, shyly, while you shake your head fondly.
"harry's costed us thousands today." simon says.

you have been to many weddings, none of them yours. you have seen all your best friends get married to the love of their lives, you have played the part of the perfect bridesmaid, you have shed a few happy tears seeing them in the beautiful white gown, you have caught countless bouquets which comes with the promise of ‘you are next!’, all while your boyfriend of five years watch from sidelines.
harry has always voiced his dislike towards weddings, he always complained about how much of a waste of money and time weddings can be. for the longest time, you thought you would never get the chance to experience your own wedding day until harry got down on one knee. originally, you and harry were going to have a small civil ceremony but then he saw you try on a wedding dress and decided that he would tolerate all the wedding fuss if he got to see you like that— happy and absolutely beautiful. you thought he won’t be of much help during the wedding prep but surprisingly he was present for all the flower arrangements, cake selections, venue choices and everything in between.
the wedding stretched out as a three-day event. day one: the welcome party, day two: rehearsal followed by cocktail party, and day three: wedding and the reception. you book a villa in south of italy to accumulate all your guests. you guys decided to keep the guest list kind of short — a few family members and most of the ukyt friends.
for the welcome party, you wear a navy blue silk dress with diamond jewellery and matching heels, harry’s shirt matches your dress and he looks dashing as always. the welcome party is a chill event, setting the mood for the weekend. guest interact with one another, getting to know each other.

the day starts with the wedding rehearsal, only a few of the guests are present such as the bridesmaid and the groomsmen, both your parents and other people involved in the wedding. it was calm and you were happy with the flow of the events.
at night, everyone meets for the cocktail party and that’s when disaster strikes. harry promised you he wouldn’t touch a drink since he didn’t want to deal with a hangover in the morning, but he did not follow through on that promise because an hour into the party and he is already drunk and spitting rude comments out, you are not completely bothered by it until he got into a physical fight. harry never gets into physical fights, well until tonight, that too with ethan.
“harry, get off him!” you hear simon scream and sprint to the scene of chaos. harry is on top of ethan landing drunk punches and in turn getting hit. everyone else is trying to break them apart but they are failing miserably.
you take a deep breath before screaming on top of your lungs, your voice is the loudest in the chaos, “stop it!” they break apart quickly. harry and ethan have a busted lip and a black eye respectively, their faces covered in guilt. “what is going on?” you say, your voice back to normal.
“he called you a bitch.” harry says, pointing towards ethan.
“only because harry called faith dumb.” ethan defends himself.
“are you guys five?” you say, anger evident in your voice. both of them began to protest but you interrupt them. “harry, go to the room, i will come and help you with your lip and ethan, put some ice on that eye. simon, can you please take of the broken glass while i deal with this idiot.” simon nods and gets to work, ethan goes to grab some ice along with faith who is glaring at him, and you grab harry’s hand and drag him to the room.
“it wasn’t my fault.” harry says, as soon as you reach the room. “he started it.”
“harry, i do not care who started it, you shouldn’t have continued it.” you sit him down on the bed and stand in front of him before cleaning and aiding his wound. “i accepted better from you harry.”
he suddenly hugs you and burying his face into your stomach. “i am sorry, darling, i promise i will behave tomorrow, i promise to give you the best wedding day ever.” your lips spreads into a soft smile and you gently run your fingers through his hair.
“okay then get changed and go to sleep, i am going back down to bid everyone good night.” you tell him. he nods and goes to change.
you stand in front of the mirror, admiring yourself in the white gown you have always wanted to wear, the one which you have dreamt of. your hair is styled just the way you like it, your makeup light just to enhance your natural beauty. you can’t help but take pride in how good you look.
“wow, darling, look at you, you look beautiful.” your mother says, tears pooling in her eyes. “ah, my baby has grown so much.”
“mum, don’t.” you say, your voice cracking, as you stop yourself from crying.
“no, no, no one’s crying.” she says wiping her tears away. “let’s go, it’s time.” she takes your arm and you make your way out, ready to walk down the aisle.
the bridesmaids wait for you there, tears forming in their eyes when they see you. ‘omg you look so pretty’ ‘i am going to cry’ and other such comments are uttered you can only smile because all your attention is on the man who’s waiting for you at the end of the aisle. you can’t see him but you cab imagine him in a black suit, nervously fidgeting with his fingers, you can’t wait to see him.
“umm…y/n, there is a problem.” one of the bridesmaids interrupts your train of thoughts. “someone’s wearing white…”
“what?” you asked confused. you have specifically asked your guests to wear darker shades like navy blue or black. you peek out to look at the person. “of course it’s her.” you roll your eyes at one of cousins. “you know what, it’s fine. it’s my day after all.” you try to shake if off. “we should start the ceremony.” you clear your throat.
the music starts playing and the bridesmaids walk out, taking their place at the end of the aisle. then you walk out with both your parents, as soon as you lock eyes with harry, he breaks down. everyone thought that harry would be the last person to cry at his wedding, seems like everyone was wrong. ethan slightly rubs his shoulder, trying to calm him down. finally you reach him, your dad hands you to him and whispers something that makes him cry more. then he looks at you properly, you wipe his tears with your thumb and give him a soft smile.
the ceremony goes swimmingly, you both exchanged your vows and with a loving kiss you both are announced husband and wife. “i present you mrs. & mr. lewis.” the officiant announces and everyone lets out a cheer.

you gasp and everyone’s attention falls on you. harry’s jaw ticks and his eyes twitches and before anyone can say anything, he takes his full glass of wine and drenches her white dress with wine. “i think darker colours definitely suits you.” he says his voice smooth and without regrets. everyone either laughs or gasps.
“you are insane.” she shrieks and when she sees you laughing, “you both are insane!” she then storms out.

the reception goes smoothly. you change into a more comfortable dress to dance in. your husband never leaving your side and you feel it then — no matter how messy days get, you will always have each other.
