Nah! Not everyone is up for shoplifting, active violence, or sex.
But these are things that are okay.
These all depend on intent. If you're stealing or doing a violence just for the fun of it, well... I'm not saying you can't enjoy the thrill of punching a Nazi in the face, but try not to glory in pain or death for its own sake. That's what leads you to find easy targets instead of carefully directing violence for strategic purposes. Go work in a slaughterhouse or something if you like watching things die.
(And don't steal from, like, family-owned business. Or from fucking Target, ever, because they have a 🎯 on your ass. They truly truly do.)
But on the other hand, if your business is encouraging people to sin?
Slacking off is just... Not doing anything.
That's passive sin. It's having an opportunity to do good, but choosing not to do it, because...
You couldn't be bothered.
You cared, but you didn't have the resources for someone else. Just enough for you and yours.
You didn't think they deserved your help.
You thought it would be good for them to not get what they wanted.
You thought they were lying.
You thought they were bad people who might do something bad with the help you gave them. Like hurt others.
Then you would be responsible for that.
And you can't deal with the pain of knowing that you made it possible to hurt somebody else, because you know for a fact that you don't have the resources to make up for all that hurt that you might cause secondhand.
So you don't give them the wheat they're asking for. They're asking for too much wheat for two people. It's not reasonable. What are they going to do with all that wheat?
Well. They might turn it into beer.
And we can't have that. People going crazy, dancing in the streets, taking off their clothes and doing whatever with whoever, you never know how many more babies they're gonna have.
We don't want them having too many babies. We need to control who breeds with who and when. We have a plan. A breeding schedule, if you will.
Beer really fucks that up. And they can make it themselves. There's a whole process for it! All you have to do is follow the steps, and boom, you have beer.
So you can't let them have the extra wheat. They might make beer with it. And then they might get ideas about how they can just reproduce however they want.
We can't let the humans think they can just reproduce however they want. We can't let them think they can just make other things reproduce whenever they want, like the miracle of wine. We can't let them figure out how to do that themselves.
So just give them manna and fruit off the tree. Don't teach them how to store things for the future. Don't teach them how to make bowls or plant or dig or anything like that. We can't have them growing things these. Can't have them changing the plan of G-d and mixing all the genes together. Doing fuck knows what.
They might make beer with it.
(And if they have any extra humans anyway? Welp.)
In fact. Turn off the water altogether. Let's see what they do.
...wait. When did that happen?
Hey @the-almighty-god did You ever, y'know... Turn off the Sky Faucet on purpose?
@the-unmighty-god @god-in-the-basement You guys, uh, have any idea who might have had control of the Sky Faucet? How it works?
I literally have no idea. I wasn't born in a time of atmospheric science. We assumed Up There to be probably upset about something if the rains didn't come on time. I'm told that's incorrect and it depends on, like, wind currents and heat patterns and stuff.
