Regrets…Kota’s also had a few. And when push comes to shove Kenny staggers over to accept whatever comfort Kota offers before pulling himself away in frustration leaving Kota to watch him wistfully. After all the dramatics Kenny can’t even bring himself to be forceful with Kota, just finally push his hand away and walk off. And even that is done while still touching his shoulder. This, in kayfabe, is a case of Kenny the heel and leader of BC suddenly not seeming so much like a heel. Kenny the Cleaner would have attacked Kota or at least been snide and mouthy. This is just Kenny Omega reacting. Tired of fighting, tired of chasing, tired of being angry, just TIRED. Kota has finally reached back out to him and the fight just goes out of him and he just can’t stand in the glare of Kota caring about him for too long. 

And God love the Bucks being the supportive friends. Who seem to have fretted over Kenny in kayfabe and out since they met him.

Everything Kenny does is Imbued With Meaning, because that’s how he fuckin’ likes it. Much like Kenny’s match with Ibushi at Budokan in 2012 was called by many the greatest match of all time, only to have that distinction supplanted by not one but two more Kenny Omega matches, Kenny Omega constantly outdoes himself in the area of Doing The Most.

So I have never seen this picture before, but since I’m already very very deep in my Golden Lovers feelings: I found this on twitter and the person who posted it says it’s immediately after the main event of Invasion Attack 2015, which is when Kenny interfered in the title match and cost Kota the belt. It’s just him sitting outside alone in the rain, holding an umbrella but not using it.

Certainly if anyone were that devoted to kayfabe it would be Kenneth Omegaman, but I think it’s hard for anyone to argue that it ends there, ya know?
