“I don’t mind. I need to get Sunny some more pet food. Does Duke know how to play fetch? Also, I’ve got a frisbee with me too. They could play with that.”

Duke began tugging on the leash when he recognized where they were headed. “He does although sometimes he doesn’t like give it ba-” Duke’s leash snapped and he started running down the street. “Duke come back!” Wren shouted and ran after him but luckily his dog stopped to be pet by someone.

“I’ve got ‘em.” The man said as he held onto Duke by his collar so he wouldn’t run away again. “T-thanks. I was worried he’d run into traffic.” Wren said as he bent down to tie both pieces of Duke’s leash together. “No problem. I’m Jae, nice to meet you.” he smiled, finally letting go of Duke when Wren finished trying the leash together again. “Nice to meet you, Jae. I’m Wren...and that’s Hayden.” he added and looked back at his friend before returning to look at Jae with heart eyes.

“No of course not, you meant gay as in happy right?” Wren shook his head. *get Duke and begins walking to le park*

“Do you mind if we go to the pet store later? I need a new leash for Duke, he likes to bite this one and it’s starting to tear.”

Hayden grinned. “Because you make fun of me every time you get the chance. You know what would be cute? Duke and Sunny, on a little dog date….Even if they’re both male dogs, who says you can’t have gay dogs, am I right?”

“That’s not true.” Wren scoffed. “...okay maybe it’s a little bit true.” He got down to get on the dogs level to try and play with him. “Or they can be friends and we can take them to the dog park. You weirdo.” he laughed.
