WE GOT GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE! it looks REALLY good, and it seems karb might be considering a first person free walk fully now along with like... OoT-style targetting and dashes? we also got to see more of the enemy in the trailer. really like how it moves

Hi, I really like thinking about the homestuck classpects of the characters too!

Venus' role as a Knight of Rage I think really fits when viewing Rage through the violent rebuking of falsehoods. Every stage has her shattering some construct of the world (something that initally had me considering prince for her), but it's all in the service of finding the absolute "hard truth" of the world.

With Mercury as the Prince of Light, my mind immediately turns to the "It's all too much for me to handle" clip in the trailer. It seems like Princes are often inundated and surrounded with their aspect, see Dirk being surrounded by his splinters, and have to learn which instances of their aspect to shatter and which to leave alone, rather than attempting to destroy it all. With Light, it makes me think Mercury is keenly aware of both his fate and what's actually happening in the universe and is struggling to cope with that knowledge.

Another thing to touch on would be the princely inversion- Dirk tries to play the cold and calculating mind player but is undermined by his bleeding heart- I think it's already showing in Mercury with his chosen vice being alcohol, which already has a strong association with light's opposite, void. I think one of Mercury's themes will be constantly wishing to resign himself to obscurity or the shadow but constantly being thrust forward into relevancy and importance. It sorta ties into Mercury's song being Once In A Lifetime.

PSYCHOPOMP (AND MORE!) NEWS, LORE, AND THEORIES #13

Okay, I've been thinking too much about the official classpects LMAO. To those unaware, they're basically a personality categorization used to determine powers and narrative role in Homestuck. Theres 12 aspects, and 14 classes that interact with said aspect. I wanna talk about ones that stick out to me whether I just wanna explain them, or genuinely are confused by them.

Mechana - Sylph of Doom. Aside from how many doom players there are in Dashbored, I find it interesting that Sylph means Mechana is a *mender* of Doom. As in she perpetuates it, keeping it alive. Additionally, Sylphs seem to struggle to mind their business so.. terrifying.

Midori - Witch of Light. WHYY DIDNT I THINK OF ITT.... one who manipulates fate SHES LITERALLY A SAVE MASTER !!

Isaac - Mage of Blood. What Do You Mean Mage. I can kinda see him being a blood, that being defined by union, society, etc. But Mages understand their aspect greatly, and may let it take advantage of them. I can only assume this applies to Mechana, because he's not really... like that yet?

Jack - Rogue of Heart. Again also VERY confused LMAO. Heart is either defined by soul or identity, so Jack being one who *steals and redistributes* that is.. weird. My only idea is that the mask of greed is related to it, as it takes over the "identity" of the wearer, in a way.

Venus- Lord of Time. Despite being a god of space, Venus having the time aspect makes... alot more sense. theyre usually categorized by like... the future obviously but also death or acceptance. It's really fitting for Venus, and being a Lord makes her a very active user of Time.

Mercury - Muse of Space. COMPLETEEE opposite of Venus. More passive, focuses on creativity yet suffers isolation. very inchresting

Mercury - Prince of Light. One who lacks and destroys Knowledge. What The Shit Is Gonna Happen In Two.

I saw your post on the Libido thing...

I don't really know the other games besides Psychopomp so I didn't know she was a character outside of it...but what do you mean Venus might have sexual trauma? Separate question but only if it's unrelated, what about the weird "anatomical" monsters we see like the boob lady in Home and the peen monster? And what are the things and drawings we see in Home, overall?

Obvious sexual abuse/trauma warning here, folks.

I personally dislike saying much about her sexual trauma due to my lack of it, but I'm happy to point out whats most obvious to me and what others have saw.

My immediate first thought is the literal "riding", along with that figure seemingly causing pain based on the tears. And yeah, the writhing figure in the Libido room is pretty on the nose too. It's violent, but no words come out.

I'd also like to point out the second layer of levels has a pelvis backround, and both levels are themed around creation. These two levels are where Venus acts most violent. Speaking of Venus, she's obviously tied to fertility, which again ties into the sexual themes.

Sexual trauma isn't new to Fading Club, either. Nashbored is incredibly direct with Nash's trauma

theres a whole lotta other stuff in home that could equate to sexual trauma, but these are the real sellers to me

this one is prompted by @ifailalotl (hi ! so glad youre as passionate as i am about this LMAO)

i realized! i've never talked about the relations between the gods and what they deal with! so i'd like to do that. To start, Venus is likely not responsible for time, and Mercury is not responsible for space. i assume you got tripped up over the classpects, which i did aswell

i knew it didnt make sense though: since we knew Damicelle and Temprocal, their respective iterations, were the opposite! I brought this up soon after the classpect post and i got this answer from Karbonic

Each homestuck aspect has its own traits, so I think Venus and Merc conviniently had their's swapped LMAO Onto life and death, however. Venus and Merc (Possibly Prince too!) are actually all gods of life and death.

their dual life/death thing was something he actually wanted to reflect in the classpects, but the personality traits of the aspects did not work

this leads me to Earth. We knew he was also worshipped by the humans, and was included during a Syzygy.

this post did infact add an extra layer, that being Birth and Life being 2 seperate things. I imagine the lore was altered slightly between that discord message and the tumblr ask, which is why Earth is death now for the Thraits. For the Evrens, I imagine Mercury is birth, Earth is life, and Venus is death. The last being based on the Evren memorial we've seen, referring to the afterlife as a "Venusian drift"

As for humans, They obviously worshipped Earth as birth, so I imagine they would worship in the last remaining combo, that being Earth, Venus, then Mercury for birth, life, and death respectively. As for the second paragraph of the original comment! I Don't Know. I'm Scared. Prince seeemss to be on Bloody Earth (Venus) *somehow*, i just genuinely dont know why or how... i think you might just be plain up and true with him being a way to maintain Bloody Earth, as Shattered Earth is completely desolate in comparison and True Earth is... yeah.

given how showers are relatively related to sewers, and the cutie mask creatures do have similar like.. mantis-like arms.. i could entirely see Prince just kinda being held somewhere deep in Bloody Earth, to be honest.

I know about Prince, but where did people get the idea that he is the Prince of Earth, or even Earth, the deity itself?

How does non descreipt girl (I think that's her name?) fit into this, considering she has the Earth symbol?

Any theories on him being a prince, while Mercury and Venus are referred to as king and Queen? Why would he be a prince and not another king?

i did talk about this a fair amount in #2 buuut to restate:

We know the Prince is "below our feet", like the Earth

We have artwork of a figure most resembling Prince and he's infact overlooking a single-mooned planet, a trait only belonging to our Earth

And what wasn't a thing in my original post, Karbonic just says directly that Earth was flayed. exactly how we see Prince ingame

Nondescript and Polite girl to me seem to be human, or atleast something close.

In 2, Polite Girl is searching for her "lord", and the lord IS a baby. I can only assume the baby is a metamorphosized Prince, like the Queen's Starting Point. Currently, I imagine the Nondescript girl and Polite girl to be something greater or holier than the average human; tied more closely to Earth. In Nondescript Girl's case, she lost all hope after witnessing the public desecration (and perhaps more). However, Polite Girl is aware of something that both her Bloody Earth counterpart and we the viewer do not know.

I imagine the titles are less about how much power they have over their own planet, but rather their power compared to the other planets. Venus and Mercury are great gods, creators of the universe. Earth is likely not as strong as the King and Queen, so he's titled as a Prince. It's also entirely possible that Earth *is* a direct offspring between Venus and Mercury, and is thus a prince due to that.

i can MAYBE see the dashbored gods being technically seperated since they're like. above the concept of their universe. but then either goutha or the arcsprite is from somewhere else, same with hei and cliernon. maybe dreamwilds are treated as seperate universes though? i dont really know.

On a more serious note, Karbonic has been unwell for the past year or so, and the discord is on temporary shutdown as he focuses on his health and development when he can. i hope the best for him, and i will await when he returns patiently. take all the time ya need

I have another theory. In this place, there were inscriptions:

Hand of a Father

Hand of a Mother

Heart of a Child

Mind of a Demon.

I think it's talking about the Fun Family and their hierarchy ( KOAD, the brains of the team, then the Child, the heart can be interpreted as emotions and feelings. Next, the hands, the Father and the Mother may be doing the dirty work while the child and KOAD are the main ones among them (perhaps their most important task is to monitor the state of Venus and Mercury, they were the ones who talked through the spheres).

The Child says what she wants, King of all dogs comes up with a plan how to implement it, then the Father and the Mother (and the Child) follow orders.

The blue thing in the center is probably the nervous system? Maybe it's Mercury. I think they've messed with his brain and are pretending to be allies.

PSYCHOPOMP NEWS, FACTS, AND THEORIES #10 i've been actually meaning to make a post about Spiral, but it's so vauge i didnt exactly have alot of content from it! i can actually *really* get behind the labels being the hierarchy, KOAD is definitely the brains of the group. Child i feel does have some control over the 2 gods, based on the EXIT cutscene and koad's instructions to not wake mercury up, like thats something they can just Do. theyre also the most verbally violent, so i can see them being the one who wanted more to destroy.... I still REALLY do not know what the nervous system looking thing is though.... i like the idea that it related to how merc is being controlled though. additionally, the order of father, child, mother also appear in dashbored kinda inexplicably.. with vurrus being demon by process of elimination... much to think about.. but yeah, i dont really have any strong takes on this, because it is wayyy too vauge to form any real believable thing with evidence. buh bye !!

hello! I would like to ask if there is any information about this bro (probably not). I could see the Jupiter symbol on their chest, but I'm not sure if it's REALLY JUPITER. maybe it's just a scar or a random pencil stroke. or is it just a random Sketch, but then why do we see their image in one of the locations?(at least it looks a little like them)

PSYCHOPOMP NEWS, FACTS, AND THEORIES #9 i genuinely have no idea what to make of SEE im gonna be honest. i would say that the art on his twitter has nothing to do with psychopomp because its not tagged as such but it genuinely does look sorta like SEE. if you ask me, i think its highly probable that its just nothing and the art was more of a random experiment on karb's part like some other works (we are not falling into the deltarune fandom trend of making anything the creator creates about one single game). BUT ALSO ! it's entirely possible it is something. the inclusion of moths throughout the entirety of hard structures and general visual similarity between the two shouldnt be ignored considering how big insects are in psychopomp. it's also not the first time karbonic has posted captionless art one of the gods iirc, he did infact do it with the Prince of Earth. if SEE is something, i'd presume that they were the god of moths, and perhaps the workings on hard structures originates from their planet? iunno. i certainly do not see jupiter on there though unfortunately. i do hope we learn more about the other 5 possible gods though, even if just a little.
