it's a shame that the idea of wormwood (the star that falls to poison a third of the earth's waters in revelations) as an angel has no real basis in anything because it'd be such a perfectly tragic parallel to the fall of lucifer and his rebel angels from heaven at the dawn of creation. it opens and closes with a fall, like a curtain drawing across the stage. the end and the beginning are one and the same
