Hey guys! Replies should be out today or tomorrow!
Okay, apologies for the lack of replies once again; Iâve dropped most of my threads, but I still have like three that I need to reply to. I work as an assistant to a funeral directer so I never know when Iâm going to be super slow or super slammed at work, and this week weâre busier than most.
On a happier note, replies should be out tomorrow night. Give this post a like and Iâll slide into your messages for plotting! Also, feel free to like if youâre unsure if Iâve dropped out thread/forgotten about our thread. (I think I told everyone who I dropped but Iâve been super distracted lately.)
Hi guys I am taking a personal day because my house needs cleaned and laundry needs done and my dogs need walked and whatnot. Iâll be on the app if you wanna chat via messaging. Also feel free to drop your instas or snaps in my messages, Iâd love to be friends on other social media as well.

The house was quiet, almost too quiet. Her stomach was already in knots just from being away from her childhood home, and to top it off Isabelâs parents were away for the weekend on business. Since they moved to town a few weeks ago, Izzy hadnât seen much of them. Busy with their new Law Firm, no doubt. She rolled her eyes. First they moved her to the middle of nowhere, then they left her alone while they threw themselves into their work. Typical. It was getting real old, real fast. Even her dorky brother was out with his newly made friends. Was she this pathetic? Apparently.Â
She stepped out onto the front porch, a long and deep sigh escaped her lips. She collapsed into the porch swing, another roll of her eyes. âWho even has a porch swing? My life is so lame,â she mumbled aloud.Â
Peter had felt someone enter Neverland, but what confused him was that he hadnât seen any SHADOWS around. The also was around, which meant it wasnât them. He decided to investigate, no one could enter Neverland without flying or a magical bean. Which meant an UNINVITED guest had placed their feet on his ISLAND; he did have in mind that it could be a mermaid, but they also usually stayed away unless they actually were from the REALM. He had told his second in the command to tell the LOST boys to keep an eye out as well. He didnât want to take any risks when it came to something UNFAMILIAR. He transported towards where Neverland told him to go, and quickly he found a girl? A CURIOUS and CONFUSED expression formed on his young features. How did she get on the ISLAND? Did she have a magical bean? His green eyes scanned her, and he quickly understood that, that was not the case. She did not come here by a magical bean. She looked way to CONFUSED, a magical bean took you to a place that you wanted and it didnât seem like she wanted to be in Neverland. He stepped forward, an AMUSED and playful smirk formed on his lips before he spoke one of his FAMOUS lines â You look LOST â
She paused briefly, startled by the sound of someone elseâs voice. Sheâd been so sure the island was abandoned, no sign of human life whatsoever. Turning to face him she shrugged softly. âIâm always a little lost,â she admitted. âThough I canât say Iâve ever gotten myself into a situation quite as horrible as this one.â The person standing before her, though the look on his face told her he was beyond her time, was a young boy. He couldnât have been older than she; possibly even younger, though she couldnât be sure. There was something in his eyes that made him see older than her. âI donât suppose thereâs an airport around here somewhere, or maybe even just a big boat? My friends are in trouble, and I need to get back to them as soon as possible.â Maria flashed him a smile; she meant it, too. She wasnât sneaky or manipulative, and it wasnât outside of her foolish, naive head to think that a stranger would help her, with nothing to gain from the situation.Â

â jake didnât give his card out all too often, but even when he did - he rarely heard from them. so when maria had called, he certainly hadnât been expecting it. currently off duty, it didnât matter, he made his way over to the address that she gave him as quickly as he could. other than that, he hadnât been able to make much sense of her words.
as he climbed out of his truck, he took an extra moment to scope out the area. when he didnât see anything suspicious, he made his way to the front door and rapped his knuckles against it.âitâs me,â he paused when she croaked out her words. âitâs jake,â he clarified.
Instantly she jumped up off of the floor, hurrying over to the door. Her fingers found the lock, clumsily fiddling with it until she heard a pop, indicating she finally had it unlocked. She swung the door open while attempting to collect herself.Â
âJake,â she copied him, attempting the same amount of control in her voice as he had had when he spoke the word. She felt like she did a pretty good job, considering sheâd been crying moments before and now her face was nearly dry. âI um, I heard someone outside. I didnât want to investigate, but I peeked out the window and I saw him. He was running away from the house, but he was here. Why was he here?â

âYour brother canât be that much of an orc.â Scott pointed, unable to think about rolling his eyes. Think, not do. He had enough control over his body language to avoid it. Even if he knew he could perfectly do so, his eyes were covered by dark sunglasses after all. âI understand the fear, but do you think heâll be mad at you for taking a decision about your future? That doesnât say much good about him, does it?
Isabel pondered for a moment. Was Max an ass? Definitely. But would he be mad at her? No, she knew he wouldnât. Max never cared what decisions Izzy made, as long as she was happy and safe. It was then she realized why she was so terrified to face her twin brother after all of these years. He had abandoned her, just like their birth parents had. And she was much more devastated by this than she had let herself or anyone else believe. âYeah, no, youâre right. I just hope heâs happy with his life here, with the normal people,â she forced a grin at him. âHiding who he really is from all the people in his life. All the people he cares about. It must be exhausting.â

âLook, I just find it fascinating, okay?â What he was investigating at the moment might have been dangerous, but that was more than likely what fascinated him about his choice of topic to research. And by research, he naturally had to get himself into the worst amount of trouble he could possibly manage, so here he was, arguing to keep doing what he loved to someone who couldnât change his mind. âI donât care if I get hurt or⊠whatever, I gotta keep searching for the truth.â Whatever being death, of course, but he didnât voice such things, not around others.Â
âIt isnât fascinating, Kale, itâs life threatening. Donât you care about the people in your life that will be affected by this: by losing you?â Her teeth sunk into her bottom lip. She didnât want to just come out and say it, how much it would affect her. Especially if she were the cause of his untimely death. She didnât think she could live with that. âYou donât want to know the truth about this, I promise you.â

As he watches her go on from a little laugh to a horrific realization, Stilesâ face twists in a poor attempt at keeping a smile off his face with her outburst. Â Truthfully he didnât know much about Pam Macy. Â Stiles liked to think himself more observant than most but there was usually a note to be made, or a prompt for him to do so. Â A girl with an annoying laugh and bright lipstick wasnât on his radar. Â âI think your laugh is fine,â he replies with a chuckle of his own. Â âLipstick is like a one layer thing though, isnât it? How do you wear too much lipstick?â
A brow cocked, Maria almost rolled her eyes. ââHow do you wear too much lipstick,ââ She mocked in a horrible impression of him. âHave you ever seen a clown, Stiles? The way they draw the red on over their lips, not just on them?â she shrugged her shoulders. âIâm not saying Pam Macy is a dog or anything. Hell, Iâd even say she was pretty. Well, maybe not pretty pretty, but definitely pretty.â she shrugged again. âI donât know, maybe Iâm just bitter. I mean, she is the other girl and all.â

âI never have a reason,â Amanda replied with a smile. âI just like being in your bubble, best friend.â She gave a playful wink.
A soft chuckle escaped Isabelâs lips. âOf course you do, you love annoying me, donât you?â

âmaybe you think this is going to be fun, but I doubt itâll be.â said scott, glasses on as he checked around. he was wearing a suit, and while it looked perfectly on him â and marked his physique in a rather unfair way â it still felt unnatural. he was far more used to regular clothes, jeans, leather, stuff that he could wear to impress and get people he didnât think should be near away. but an invitation was an invitation, and he couldnât say no to a party when it was asked with such a particular insisting way. plus, he would never want to disappoint a friend in need.

Isabel shrugged her shoulders. âWell, Iâm happy you came, despite your lack of enthusiasm. I really did not want to face my brother alone.â When Charles Xavier approached her brother and herself, she had decided to come with him and Max had decided to ignore his abilities. She hadnât seen or heard from him since that day, four years ago. That is, until she was invited to his wedding shower two weeks ago. âI donât think I could have done this by myself.â

â S O what do you say ââ  is the situation desperate enough to finally open that TEQUILA bottle ? â
A small sigh escaped Isabelâs lips. She was desperate, but was she that desperate? She shrugged with the slightest nod of her head. âYeah, I guess it is.â
There was a moment of silence before she spoke again. âI just donât get it. I gave him everything, how could he cheat on me?â

âwhat? you dont count demon killing a date?â he asks, gesturing to the black ichor that stains his pants and boots. the joking look on his face vanishes. âi know clary, but there isnât currently a lot more that i can do, that iâm not already doing.â
âAs a matter of fact, I do not count that as a date,â Clary shrugged, almost playfully; it would have been playful, if her emotions werenât all over the place. She wanted to joke and laugh. She didnât know Jace well, but she definitely felt safe in his company. She knew he was a friend. âRight.â She paused, letting out a huff. âNo, youâre right. I just donât know what to do. Sheâs just gone, and sheâs the only person I can think to call for advice on our current predicament. I assume you could see how that is frustrating.â

It isnât quite what he might have expected, but it was better than dead pets.  Processing and debating how to respond, for a moment Stiles only blinks at the girl.  âThatâŠSucks, dude.â  Quite the understatement as well, Stiles thinks, though she truly didnât seen that torn up about it.  âTo be fair, yâknow that probably says more about him and his taste than you.  Minus the fact he chose you first⊠You can tell me to shut up any time now, by the way.â
A small, half hearted giggle escaped her lips. âHey, at least youâre honest.â She paused a moment, considering this. âGod, if Iâm anything like Pam Macy, I donât see how I ever got a date in the first place. She wears way too much lipstick, and just openly over lines the crap out of it, you know. Donât even get me started on her laugh--â Maria stopped abruptly, her teeth sinking into her bottom lip. âOh god, mines not that bad, is it? What if he just has this like, thing for ugly girls with horrible laughs? And I was the first!â A horrified expression grew on her face.Â
Was Maria Deluca dramatic? Absolutely! She was also irrational, immature, and a little defensive. She was also terrified. And that was something she did not take lightly. When sheâd taken out her cell phone and called Jake Riley, she was a babbling mess. She was terrified of her own shadow ever since her ex boyfriend had roughed her up a bit, and scared was something she was not used to.Â
She had the doorâs deadbolt locked, and she was sitting in front of her couch, legs pulled to her chest and knees tucked under her chin, a knife clumsily clutched in her fingers. When there was a knock at the door she let out a shriek. Quickly she covered her mouth, embarrassed. âWh-whoâs there?â

âWeâll pretend I was listening to you.â He says with an apologetic look. âI totally zoned out. Iâm sorry. What were you saying?â
âWow, excuse me. Rude much?â Isabel rolled her eyes. âI wasnât even talking to you. I was talking in general. Donât get too excited.â
