I know most of the people I follow aren't as nasty as that racist who faked out the poc in the rpc, but honestly with that happening I'm fucking done with roleplaying on this hellsite. I realize I might have a reputation for flaking out on blogs after a couple of weeks, but I've honestly thought about this, and I can't stay in a community that that bends over backwards to excuse nazi roleplayers, pedophilia, and other nasty ass things in the name of creative freedom and fun. I will remain logged into this blog on the app in case anyone wants to contact me about my personal or my other social media, but I'm deleting all of my drafts, and will probably delete the blog I was working on moving to.

Okay so this is going to be upsetting to hear, but pocrppositivity deactivated because it was run by a racist white girl. I had weird suspicions that she was one of the mods and lied about her race so I sent an IM about it to discuss privately and yeah. She confessed it was her, there weren't actually three mods it was just her. She deleted the blog before I could respond further. I'm at a loss.

(2) She copied and pasted the rules and FAQ pages from a few other POC-centric blogs and just “tweaked” them so they fit her blog. It was all an elaborate set up. In her message back to me she said she just wanted to “prove” that POC aren’t actually marginalized and that people love them but really hate white people. It didn’t make a lot of sense but I can IM you the screencaps.

(3) It got pretty ridiculous. She even went so far as to say all of the people submitting to the blog and agreeing with “excluding” white people were racist and that she was actually using the masterlist as a means of blocking people she knew supported the blog and were racist.

(4) The user herself is a white girl who has stated in the past she 1) does not believe POC are marginalized 2) thinks racism doesn’t exist 3) thinks “POC” is a racist word despite not believing in racism and is 4) quoted as “having a black friend” whom she “loves dearly” as a means of excusing her racism.

wow. this is really fucked up if it’s true. please do send me the screencaps. this is a lot to take in & im honestly having trouble believing it ?? but if there’s screencaps i really.. can’t say much. thanks for messaging me.

With exception for things in my drafts and unanswered shit in my ask(which i will reply to as I set the new blog up), this blog is essentially an archive. I realize I haven't been the most active, and my reply speeds are shitty, but I hope with the hiatus this will put me in until I get stuff set up and a good chunk more of icons made, that this will be a new start for myself

I get that. My muses before i decided to just do a multimuse were short lived, aside from River Song, but I ended up feeling hella insecure about her until recently, so she's coming back.

theres also the fact i barely maintain iris and since so little ppl actually rp with her, ive been considering archiving her jsdfhjsdf i really dont want to but just. that blog feels like im eternally writing starters for people who never reply or various other things, someone once backed out of smth we spent forever plotting bc they realized i dont do smut. so if i cant keep up iris very well, i dont know if i could do another blog that i feel would go the same way ;V;

hey, rpc. sit with me for a second. i have a favor to ask.

please write, create, and sustain more lesbian characters (especially lesbians of color and/or trans lesbians).

if you aren’t a lesbian or haven’t played one on rpc, it might be difficult to see where i’m coming from when i say this, but it is deeply lonely and alienating a good 98% of the time. now, this isn’t a shot at any other lgbt rep whatsoever, because i love every single lgbt character out there + am thankful they were created.

but hear me out… what’s lonely about lesbianism both in real life and in the rpc is feeling left out of the conversation re: attraction to men and also being made to feel like you’re less than or othered because you aren’t romantically or sexually interested in men. there are some times that are worse than others, but for the most part, there’s always at least a little if not a lot of me that’s incredibly lonely and feeling alienated.

so, please, normalize lesbianism and lesbian characters. keep making all kinds of lgbt characters, of course, but don’t forget to include lesbians, as well. treasure them as you would any other character, and treat them as fairly and with enthusiasm.

write with lesbian muses. cherish lesbian muses. get excited about lesbian muses.

every little step goes a long way.
