This is what it’s like to have dyslexia. Web developer Victor Widell is hoping to shine a light on the learning disorder with this creative coding simulation.

If I Could

if I were to be given,

A gift stronger that the stars,

I'd give it to you,

Along with my heart.

And every single word

would be as true as lies,

because they'd be too true,

too unreal and be present in my eyes.

I'd give you my hands,

so you'd know they're real,

so you'd see they're for you,

like the love that you steal.

I'd show you the reality,

The true side of me,

the soul that's wild and sad,

not content, yearning to be free.

If I were to be given,

a gift like a summers day,

I'd show it to you,

no words to say.

I'd show you my eyes,

describe the image I look,

how I see you and myself,

every cranny and nook.

I would smile with my lips,

prove the happiness you give,

tell you just knowing,

Is what its like to live.

Then I'd convey my want to stay,

To stop time and sigh,

Because every time I part with you,

its too sad to say goodbye.

So that's my gift to you,

nothing concrete, nothing real,

just my thoughts and feelings,

and a fate for you to seal.

If I could i'd put it into words,

id say it to your face,

but my nerves are ever present,

so it would be without grace.

Synopsis for Hybrid!

‘Kathy, a few things need to be explained to you because the operation, although a success, has changed your physical appearance’

Kathy Winterfield is 16, and fault to a crash is now very different to the girl she once was. Waking from a coma, Kathy finds her life has been saved by her father’s medical research company -the one she has never been allowed to know about. Whilst on the road to recovery, Kathy realises the truth behind her operation and that the changes she has sustained are much more extreme than she presumed. With no other purpose but to recover and try to return to a new life, the doctors tell her she is going to be the next step for significant medical breakthroughs but there seems to be a much more sinister plan behind her condition… One that can kill.

Kind is the mother who lives alone, Undeserving of her lovers betrayal, When her heart sank like a heavy stone, And became cold,withdrawn and pale.
