On the HP reboot

Ok, so obviously, don’t support the reboot at all, honestly I’d suggest not even posting about it when it comes out as to not get it trending. 

But what I want to talk about is how people react to the people involved in this show. 

Please please please, do not direct your anger and hate at the young actors that will be cast in this show. Direct all that at HBO and Jk Rowling. Not the little kids (they’ll probably about 10 years old when cast) that won’t even understand why this show is problematic. When they get cast, all they’ll be thinking is that their dreams are coming true. They won’t understand that the creator is a terrible person. Please, I’m begging y’all, do not send hate to the child actors.

Exactly this. Plus the industry is Not easy for anyone, so I might have a soft Spot for anyone who is just starting out now and has the heart set to one of the roles. Or all the people workong in make-up, lighting, costume etc… getting a job at a show like that meins you will have sort of steady work for a couple years, so I Cannot forget the economical Perspektive.

it's very important to me that if we get celebrían in a later season that the show has already established elrond as a respected, venerable warrior and leader but he's just instantly pussywhipped at the first sight of her. like i want a whole season of Elrond: The Lord of Imladris, Herald of Gil-Galad, the War General™ Hated By The Enemy only for him to immediately revert back to an absolute LOSER of a loverboy as soon as he meets her. he trips over thin air at the sight of a bare ankle. can't string two words together without fumbling it. everyone else is living in an action-adventure fantasy epic genre but nobody told elrond bridgerton that

While we're on the topic of Colin finding out Pen is LW, I do hope we're going to get a little part where he's not angry at her for writing bad things about others but angry at her for writing bad things about herself .

He went to her garden in the middle of the night to check up on her after the LW column came out saying how she's basically never gonna find a husband and Colin said that was "beastly" of her to write...

So imagine him, future Colin 'My wife' Bridgerton, finding out that the person who wrote the most insulting and horrible things about his beloved is his beloved herself??? That's the angst I want, plus the part of him being protective of her
