#beck this is my life now
made you smile and look away
â¨âseek the one who puts your firey neurons in their place
The grainy feeling that emits memories of rain on tin roofs, campfire stories without reception, conversations without the mention of likes. Long walks after school to nowhere, with the excuse being that Mum needed milk. The waiting game in scrabble, that one letter you need. The 6 year old survival feeling when a black out lasted all night and you began to think back a little, you were inventive. When you get locked out and decide to lay on the grass and look at the stars. Towns without streetlights. Towns without traffic lights. Learning new music from the radio, after cassettes and before CDâs. When its raining and you stay outside.

đThe Ocean; birth place of 85% of the worlds oxygen, birth place of the worlds fish and therefore 40% of the worlds livestock feed, birth place of travel, of wonder, of surfing and exploration. đâĄď¸The Ocean; grave of CO2 - she drinks up half of the human world's emissions via photosynthesis performing algae, without this algae - CO2 levels rise and heat the atmospheređż, grave of species - 90% of big fish stocks have been taken from the ocean since 1950, grave of the worlds ill managed plastic and rubbish, which makes its way into our food eventually, which disturbs the chemical balance, grave of chemicals used in offshore drilling, grave of human ignorance toward the no.1 ecosystem that supports our every breath and action. đThe Ocean; a place of now - in history - this year - this decade - we can understand these problems and turn them into an opportunity to mark the moment when humanity reversed a terrible cycle we created. đđđđTonight in New York, the UN meets with figures of science, pop culture, media, technology and business to discuss how all of these agencies can work together in monumental ways to bring about rapid change to the way we treat and use the ocean.đđđđ #unxparley #parleytv @parley.tv @seashepherd @captpaulwatson @mission_blue
Burning Gold
Frozen plinth
 Madman's gloryÂ
Madmanâs plinthÂ
Taken from me
 Starving desertÂ
Fill my eyeÂ
Burning signetÂ
Till I dieÂ
Craving sanction
 Lost afire
Quick to take up
 Sponge desireÂ
Call my bountyÂ
Save my nameÂ
But speak of notÂ
Distilment fame
 Carve my species
 Down and outÂ
Crawl to heavenÂ
Mary's poutÂ
Make me sacred
 Say 'I do'
Twirl me naked
 Drink the blues
 Take my chestÂ
Down to the sea
 Gold and richesÂ
Set them free
Longing/preachingÂ
Want them notÂ
Roots and peaches
 Earth robot
Quick to murmurÂ
She is wild
Speaks with rainÂ
Just like a child
Takes me home
 Paths and presentÂ
Queen of night
 Daytime peasant
 Swirling quicktime  Nothing realÂ
Babies cryingÂ
Stripper's dealÂ
Grown up knowingÂ
Aching stone
 Pouring quicksand
 All I've knownÂ
Strangerâs acre
 Cosmic pull
Big bang time warp
 Quaint fish schoolÂ
Waking slowlyÂ
Much alive
Dead and showing
 Nine till five
 Bored and comfort
All too soon
Jungle ally
Flowers bloom
She is sleepingÂ
Dreaming quake
Ocean sunrise
Now awake
Follow men
Down to the tombs Dig up wishesÂ
Histories doom
 Gone and swallowed
 Love me not
But let their cryingÂ
Garden rot For she is sacred
 She is kindÂ
Woman Man Child Divine
 Burn my silverÂ
Burn my gold
But leave her singing As I grow old
