I started studying the basics of philosophy. I am currently reading A Brief History of Thought: A Philosophical Guide to Living by Luc Ferry, and it's pretty good for beginners!

Blessed that Tolstoy tacked that essay on free will and power onto the end of War and Peace just for me for getting through the rest of it 🙏

I love summer but I can't stand the heat. I'm really struggling with the temperature and it makes me slow and tired. Today was a crazy day at work and I'm looking forward to the holidays... Our school is not built for heat, it makes teaching unbearable. The students can't concentrate and me neither.
