Cat in need of temporary foster (URGENT)
Sophie is 6.5 years old. She is fixed, friendly with other cats, and a lazy dumbass. She doesnโt meow much and just wants to cuddle with you under the covers.
She is needing to find a temporary home for up to 1 year as I am moving unexpectedly and am unable to bring her into my new residence. I plan on getting back on my feet as soon as possible to be able to take her back. I will pay for her food, vet visits, flea medicine, anything. She means the world to me and I am heartbroken that I have to give her up, even temporarily.
I am looking for people in the Loudoun County, Virginia or Washington D.C. areas to help me with this. She needs to be in a new place by the 20th of February or so.
Please contact me regarding fostering her.

Likes charge. Reblogs CAST
Also, if anyone even pays attention to this blog anymore, I hope that you dont mind this turning into a more open space where I can drop my thoughts. I'm just starting to write again and decided to come back to this account because why not. You may unfollow if you wish but I will not be creating bts content anymore. My writings, however, will still be available to view and I may reblog them once in a while. ๐
Have you ever noticed that stars don't twinkle when you put glasses on?
The science provides you with a world of clarity. You begin to see people for who they are, materials for what they are, and society for what it is.
But once you take them off, the divine provides you with a world of color. You begin to see nature bloom, blinding smiles, and society within the blurs you mold.
There's verisimilitude within the idea that living in a romantic world is more worrying than living in the real one.
But hey, it's always nice to see the stars twinkle.
Soul Train, 1970s. Good times.ย
Soul Train entered national syndication in 1971, and is a big part of what made it such a revolutionary year for music. Thanks for these great pictures!

How to Plot Your Story Using the But/Therefore Method
Hereโs another sneak peak from my forthcoming book The Complete Guide to Self-Editing for Fiction Writers!
The but/therefore method* is an easy way to create your plot and test the cause-effect connections between your plot and character motivation.
If you donโt have a plot yet, it can help you create one. If you already have one, the method almost always reveals gaps that need to be addressed with new or stronger chapters/scenes. (For help with your character motivation, check out the PDF โCreating Character Arcsโ in my Free Resource Library.)
Use this template for each scene or chapter:
[Main character] wants ______, but _______, therefore ______.
In the first blank, put the motivation for that chapter or scene.
In the second blank, the conflict or obstacle.
In the third blank, the result or action the character takes, which leads into the next goal, and so on, and so on.
Chapter-by-chapter it might look something like this:
Chapter 1: Julian wants to ask Matt to the dance, but heโs scared of being rejected, therefore he slips a cryptic note into Mattโs locker.
Chapter 2: Matt doesnโt see the note. Now Julian wants to get into his locker and retrieve it, but the principal sees him trying to jimmy open the lock, therefore Julian is given detention for a week.
You can also do this scene-by-scene. My suggestion would be to start with the chapter outline, see what it reveals, then move into the scenes. If youโve already written a draft, you can outline your draft using the template, which should reveal holes in character motivation, plot, and cause/effect, all with one fell swoop!
Hope this helps!
*I adapted this method from South Park writer Trey Parker, who first introduced it in the documentary Six Days to Air.
