Max had wanted them to turn someone else. A new brother to join them, make them stronger, but he had to make sure that whoever it was, was the right fit for the family.

Paul and Marko had met Billy on the boardwalk when he first arrived in town and took an instant liking to the boy, and invited him to hang out each night.

He had yet to drink from the bottle, and David was thinking that he might soon begin the ritual of bringing in a new brother.

Of course, that night the Surfer nazi had decided to fuck with them, stealing their bikes, and David saw red; the boys all knew what was going to happen. They were going to kill them, drain them of all their blood, before ripping them apart and disposing of them in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for the sharks to feed off.

He froze as Billy spoke up and he pursed his lips together, his eyes meeting the boys. He could hear their voices in his head. They wanted him to become one of them so he would agree, but if he ran, he would enjoy the surfers at the bottom of the ocean.

"Fine, just don't run away when you see something you don't like."

David began to run his fingers up and down her sides, he watched her as she began to ask questions. He stopped and waited until she finished before answer.

"I don't know if they can hear your thoughts. I can hear theirs and they can hear mine but we all share the same maker. You have me as that, you could try reaching out to Dwayne, see if he replies. We can leave but you have to make sure you don't get caught with nowhere to hide from the sun." He said answering her first two questions his eyes watching her, waiting for her to speak before answering the third but he heard the question in his mind and he laugh.

"I was turned in 1906, when the big one hit San Francisco. I died in this very hotel and if you don't want them there, they won't be."

He then let out a small laugh at her next question, pulling her in and placing a kiss on her lips. "You wouldn't be here if you were just a fuck buddy"

Admittedly, Saskia did feel a little better getting her questions out in the open, even if some of them were a little stupid. But the way David looked at her put her mind far more at ease.

"Can you hear everyone else right now? I don't really hear anything but my thoughts and yours, which if it's just you who can hear me, I should apologise now for how often I think about you naked," she blushed darkly, laughing as she hid her face.

Nodding once he told her when he was turned, her eyes flickered at the hotel around them, falling silent as it sank in just how long he'd been there, how long they'd all been there. "I just want you there," she murmured finally, her eyes going back to meet his.

Her fingers laced themselves into his hair once he kissed her. "So what do I call you then? My creator seems too formal, my master can be for... later if you want it. Boyfriend? Or maybe just mine?"

He just nodded and sat back on the wheelchair. There was plenty for the boys to do after they killed the new clan, so they could be alone together.

"Sir, master, my lord, my one true God." David said joking about the names but he wouldn't lie, if she called him any of those names while they were being intimate, he would ravage her. "But i am yours as you are mine."

It took David a long time to trust anyone outside of their little crew. Especially after Star and Michael but he and the boys began to look once more for a new member and the boys took an instant liking to the blonde Australian that landed on their lap.

It didn't take much for him to drink out of the wine bottle, his blood running down the boys throat and his own boys let out a chair welcoming him to the family.

That had been a couple months ago and he had settled in well but he still hadn't taken his first kill.

"Is tonight going to be the night that you finally join us or are you going to disappoint us again?" David asked as he walked next to him down the broadwalk, the boys going off to hunt.

it all started whenever mapplethorpe had met paul and marko on the boardwalk. they had been causing some kind of chaos that mapplethorpe was undeniably drawn to. ( and they found him to be amusing with his silly accent. ) though, mapplethorpe had been so desperate to feel accepted in a scary, strange place that he didn't even hesitate to drink the wine whenever it was offered to him. ( which he later on found out was blood. )

the man reason why mapplethorpe hasn't taken his first kill was mainly out of spite. ( he felt like being like this wasn't his decision. ) so, obviously--.... he was going to make things difficult for david. ( though, it was getting harder and harder to fight. )

he'll yawn as midnight blue eyes shift towards david, eyes sunken and exhausted. "i don't know, davey. might be. might not be. depends on my mood,"

David let out a small hum and the a small deep laugh escaped his throat. He walked over to him and tilted his head up, his long fingernails scratching the skin under the halflings chin.

"You dont have much longer before the cravings get to much and then you go on a rampage or i can just kill you now. You're only here because of Marko and Paul, they saw something in you which I just dont see." David then grabbed his chin with his hand, his fingers squeezing roughly at his cheeks.

"I will make this simple, you have 2 nights to feed. If you then I will kill you and feed you to the sharks."

'Of course not.' David said to her, stepping away from her and nodding to the door, letting her go. He trusted that she could find her way back through the destroy hotel and he was sure she wouldn't leave especially since they were away from the town, not that she knew exactly where they were.

He wouldn't be long to follow her back out. He just needed to confirm some things with Dwayne and the vampire he didnt even bother to learn his name.

He didn't just that, making sure that the information dwayne got about the location and what they looked like was correct and it took some of his illusions to get the reaction he wanted out of it.

Once he was done he went out and walked until he found her and just looked at her before talking her hand and pulling her along until he got the the wheelchair he used. He sat down and pulled her onto his lap. "Ask away, i know you have questions."

Saskia didn't have to wait long for David to come back, moving his arms to wrap around her middle once she was sat in his lap. She did have probably far too many questions but surely he'd be fine answering her barrage of questions.

"Okay, well, you don't have to answer all of them but here goes. Can everyone else hear my thoughts or is that just between you and me? Are we just kind of stuck here or are we able to leave Santa Carla? And I guess I should've asked you this before I dropped the love bomb but how long have you been a vampire?" She blurted out her questions in a single breath, almost embarrassed by asking them.

Pressing her lips together, she asked a final question telepathically. "Is it going to be just you coming over after hunting or are the other guys gonna be there? I might have to change plans if it's not just you."

She probably should've waited for confirmation that nobody else heard her thoughts before asking her last question but hey, she just discovered she could talk to her boyfriend - if she could even call him that - with her mind, might as well use it.

Paul zoomed off infront of them, though with his hearing he could still hear them and could converse with Marko if needs be.

Marko tilted his neck as he rode to her place, allowing her better access of his neck. It didn't stop his concentration away from the road but he did enjoy feeling her lips on his skin.

"Only me right?" The curly haired vampire teased, more because he knew Paul would be listening in. "Because I'm your favourite and Paul smells."

Saskia playfully hit Marko's arm, her teeth digging into the skin of his neck for a moment before pulling away, not being serious with leaving a mark. At least not yet.

"Absolutely not true!" she laughed, resting her chin on his shoulder. "Paul, you know I love you and I always miss you!" she yelled out to make sure Paul heard her over the wind and the bikes.

Once they arrived at her apartment, she climbed off Marko's bike and instantly sped over to Paul and kissed him deeply. "I feel like I haven't been giving you enough attention, I feel bad," she pouted before kissing him again.

Paul just let out a laugh as she called out to him and Marko couldn't help but yell out, teasing his blood brother some more. "But you didn't deny that he smells."

Marko pouts as they pull up and she runs over to Paul who is enjoying the attention he is getting. His arms wrapping around her and resting on her ass, giving each cheek a squeeze as he deepened the kiss even more.

"Alright, unless you are ready to fuck for the neighbours to see, we might want to continue this inside." Marko said, having seen a certain move from one of the neighbouring houses.

"We will go back to yours after you feed. Collect your cat and whatever else you want. You live with us now." David said to her as she turned to leave. He leaned down and pressed his lips against her. His mind connecting with hers as he spoke to her telepathically.

'Dwayne has their location and what they look like. We will go on a hunt after your feed but I want you to stay at your home. It won't be safe for you.'

His voice floated around her voice as he pulled away from her and he gave her a simple nod. Letting her know that yes she was hearing him correctly.

Saskia didn't doubt for a second that David would make him and his group suffer, even if she had no part in it. She'd just stay in her apartment with Jasper and wait for David to come back, she wasn't even sure what she'd even bring with her outside of her cat but she'd figure it out.

She cupped his face as he kissed her, having to go onto her tiptoes to be closer to his height. She nodded in response to his message in her mind, sending him one back; "I'll be waiting for you, just try not to keep me waiting too long, okay?"

Now knowing she was telepathically linked with David and potentially the other boys, she knew she needed to watch what she was thinking. Given how often so many her thoughts weren't exactly family friendly, she figured nobody but her needed to know those kinds of things.
