oo1. i do not follow back immediately. it takes me a minute to look through blogs and determine if i want to follow. do not take this personally. i have had this blog since 2012 and because of that, i have accumulated a huge number of followers. i want to follow people that i do see creating interesting threads together. not just a follow for a follow back.
oo2. that being said, i don't do mains/affiliates anymore. all it does is cause unnecessary drama. all it does is make people feel insignificant and i won't have it on my blog. you are perfectly welcome to ask for a dynamics tag however, if our muses work well together. but i expect to have the same energy reciprocated.
oo3. on that note, please don't follow me to add to your "collection" i am not a person that can be put on a shelf and added to an already extensive bucky collection, if you follow me, you have to want to write with me, otherwise i don't want that energy. i have been "collected" before because bucky is a desirable opposite, and let me tell you it sucks. and i refuse to let it happen again.

oo7. my bucky is a mix of comic canon and movie canon. but for the most part, i'm just doing my own thing. but the important tweaks to know about are: bucky is a lapsed jewish man. bucky was found by karpov, not by hydra, bucky doesn't have a "no kill" rule. i do not do any bucky!cap plots - because, as much as i like bucky!cap, i prefer him working in black ops.
oo8. multiship/multiverse. if they have a good vibe, i probably ship it. bucky is written as a bisexual man so all ships are viable.
oo9. general don't be a dick rule.
o10. best way to break the ice is to send a meme. all prompts remain active unless said otherwise. i do periodically close my askbox so i can get a handle on my drafts, but for the most part, it is a free for all.
Peggy can't help but roll her eyes, can't stop the scoff that rips from her throat as he chastises her. It's even harder to hide the wince as she jostles her injury the wrong way. "I'm not a child," she retorts quickly. "Nor am I an obedient dog to be called to heel." Her voice is steely. Perhaps he's right, perhaps she might have been killed. But it's the job.
She stands, limping gingerly to stand beside him. "You don't get to decide what I do and don't do," says Peggy. But he's not finished talking and Peggy feels her face soften as she meets his eyes at his admission. A beat, silence, as she processes his words. "I..." She wants to argue, but it becomes stupidly difficult when he fumbles through the last work and she whispers an admission- "I miss him too."
he turns , his expression hard for a moment before then turning away , ensuring that peggy cannot see his face . he doesn't want to give into the idea that he potentially almost lost her as well . && admitting that it would leave a hole in his chest that was equivalent to the size of a cannonball . his lips purse && then he shakes his head , moving back to look at her , hands on his hips . ❝ i know you're capable more than most people on this fuckin' planet , ❞ he says , ANGER rising now that she had mentioned steve . ❝ && i know you're not a child . but the plan was not to get ourselves fuckin' killed . we can't finish the mission if one or more of us is dead . ❞
his expression remained in anger , not giving in to the emotional weight that came along too . ❝ we do this TOGETHER , or not at all , peggy . ❞ he implores . ❝ please just at least consider that ? that steve wouldn't want you killing yourself during a stupid mission . ❞
