there is no point in reminiscing. rosette simply has drilled, still drills, it onto her mind that remnants of childhood years are better buried. that any trace of warmth naivety had her believe in, even for awhile, should be kept neatly where she thinks it suits them best. away. away from her. just so she wouldn’t have to feel the need to feel them all again as if she should. but how so when lilting reminders constantly come in human form and wasteland is painstakingly small she just has to be barbarically pushed into the corner forced to face the very same things she ought to be dead? foolish fairytales, kindness, and lest she forget - lionel.

“what a damned place.” she mumbles through gritted teeth, her eyes darting from one page to another even when the countless spells clearly cross her mind and barely clings. if anything, the thought of losing her drive over mundane souls like him - akin to the fools mother dearest always say in her stories - frustrates her even more that it impels her to stand up from the cold tiles of the lonesome manor’s library to take a break. 

the night sky stretches before her as she walks towards the various epitaphs surrounding the place. in actuality, she thinks it is nonsensical to do such a thing: to fit years lived by someone in words clumsily put together by people who may never know the vastness of their being. it doesn’t take her long enough to spot the one who shares the same name as her.

yikes did i finish that finals or did that finals finish me?? anyway hello darlings! i’m astrid (20, gmt+8, she/her) and i haven’t rped in a long time so please forgive me for any shortcomings BUT YES it’s lovely to be here. meet my devious munchkin rosette moors, she’s a very soft-spoken calculative bch who’s lowkey with her shenanigans. here is her bio, profile, some plots (to be updated to the best of my ability). random blurbs about her will be listed under the cut as well.

anyway, should you like to plot just like this post and i’ll come and bother you <33

first of all all headcanons are based on the sleeping beauty storybook and movie, its sequel, and the maleficent movie (the moors canon and maleficent backstory only)

rosette wasn’t really evil from the get-go, her childhood years consisted of her sneaking out to meet the marchen locals to help them in anyway that she can;; She also was able to befriend some children of the royals so *coughs* plot drop )

although maleficent has no sense of familial love within her and was very toxic and abusive to rosette, she still clings onto her for her dear life poor child

fast forward to that one time she made a prince ‘accidentally’ hurt himself and her mom slightly became her #001 fan, she realized if by doing so she could get even a tiny bit of mother dearest’s attention then so be it

in a way, it’s fun and games for her too. her targets being naughty kids or people that just gets under her skin ( see: almost everyone )

she’s not blatant on her actions, majority of the people thinks she’s nice and from a different mold compared to her mother because yes she’s really sweet and every thing is always toned down. only a few good ‘friends’ knows her plans.

has a pet raven luce ( that’s actually an orphan boy who she turned into one because he had tried to steal her ring) ;; they’re bffs though

in general, rosette has no sense of what she wants. she needs no crown, castles would suffocate the hell out of her. if anything, it’s the power and whatever type of high she gets whenever she sees people hurting that she thinks she’s after.

wasteland isn’t really a bad idea. it’s a breathe of fresh air she just needs her cats and black cLOTHES back okay

scarred for life rip she has major trust issues and has no concrete idea of what love is except for the story her mother has drilled into her already ( see prince stefan and his betrayal )

most of her powers are intermediate level and that’s what she’s really working on atm. will probably be in the lonesome manor 24/7 to read on spell books and alike
