honest to god, why are people hating on (this) elias?? what he says is basically the truth re: the way most people think. that’s not to say it is right, or that yasmina doesn’t have a right to be upset, because it is incredibly upsetting and shitty and all!! - but it’s not an ‘elias thing’, it’s the society issue of double standards. the way he worded it wasn’t great, but let’s not pretend it’s that strange to hear him voice the different standards that exist for boys and girls. it’s a thing brothers (esp. older!)/family members do - sometimes harshly.
wtfock has just made britt their ‘’go-to’’ for mean/bitchy female characters in the skam universe, apparently. it’s sort of shitty, because every time they ‘redeem’ her character they immediately throw her into another situation where she’s the bad one? let the girl live for once

i am catching up and let me just say
1. younes is an absolute sweetheart who deserves the world
2. more elias plz
tbf i don’t think what elias said was all that bad re: the ‘’don’t do anything stupid’’. very normal advice, and it can be interpreted many ways, but it wasn’t very negative at all, to me it seemed more that he’s saying that because yasmina let younes take the blame for aaron, who has done stupid stuff before; it just seems as if he criticizing that more than anything else (esp. because that was the topic before)? and he’s right to criticize that imo.
and like - the group means well!! they’re really trying!! that’s all v good and all but yasmina clearly has a reason she doesn’t want them to come over and i’m really interested in why
i don’t really blame yasmina for wanting to keep them separate. like, elias meant well, but honestly? i totally understand yasmina. especially since it’s also to do with her religion, which is such a personal thing - sharing those moments with those who don’t share/understand can just be very difficult.
i do like seeing aaron having to apologize for real, to elias. seeing him confronted, basically. elias was really quite nice about it.
lol i love elias.
#(one of) the best part(s) of the scene
pls ignore kato i forgot she was there
That’s the perfect occasion to get to know each other better.
yasmina is the best kind of friend, honestly - throughout all seasons, she’s always been the most loyal friend with the good and honest advice (not always the things you want to hear but the things you have to hear), and she doesn’t get enough credit for it
yasmina putting her belief first is good.
it’s also very yasmina. it would be out of character otherwise, imho.
that’s not to say people do not get to make their own decisions; they do!! that’s the important thing. but the fact she holds onto her belief despite ‘pressure’ from outside?? i like that.
yasmina putting her belief first is good.
they’re really going for the ‘’between two worlds’’ theme huh
