Within the Wires Anniversary Zine Sign-up

We've had some interest in doing a zine! The form to sign up is below - once you've done so, you can go ahead and start on your piece right away!

The deadline is 18th October. If you need any flexibility with this, you must contact the mods on Discord or this blog as soon as possible. If there is a delay in submission, your work may not be completed in the finished zine on the 25th.

All illustrations should be in portrait A5 size (1748 x 2480)

Fics over a certain length may instead be included as an excerpt with a link to a finished piece (this will depend on the final layout of the zine and will be discussed with the writers individually)

Joining the WTW discord (pinned at the top of this blog) is recommended to make keeping up with updates easy.

Interest Check

It's the anniversary of the first Within the Wires finale on the 25th October 2026. There has been a suggestion that we organise a fanworks zine to celebrate the show's decennial, so this is a check for interest. This is not a commitment right now - if enough people show interest, I will post a form to sign up.

As always, there is no threshold for ability, but the deadline will be quite firm as we'd be aiming to publish on the anniversary.

hi folks! sorry for the lack of updates recently, things have been a little hectic. as per the results of the poll, here is the border design for Major Arcana 2.0! it is transparent, so you should be able to add it yourself, but if you would rather submit your design to me and have me add it, i am happy to do so!

dimensions are 900x1500 pixels including the opaque strips at the bottom and top. the card title font is bahnschrift condensed in bold at 72pt. the number on the top is the same at 48pt.

hello everyone! so thrilled by the response and signups so far!

as far as dimensions go for Major Arcana 2.0 cards, they will be the same as last time - the size of the cards including the border will be on a scale of 900x1500 pixels.

the border itself will probably change in order to differentiate from the previous project, but its dimensions will be the same. feel free to create your piece on a larger canvas to be scaled down, just make sure that nothing important will need to be cropped out!

we're doing another one! the first project was so much fun, and such a success, that we want to do another. and as luck would have it, we've had four seasons and a novel since the last one, so we have a whole new roster of characters to choose from.

as before, drawing ability is no object whatsoever. whether or not you think you "can draw", you are more than welcome to participate in this project!

The next big WtW poll... battle of the ships!

We are yet to decide the final winner of the narrators bracket, but I am opening up submissions for the next poll now in the hopes of gaining more submissions. Here are some rules.

1. One ship per submission. You can submit multiple ships, but please only submit each ship once.

2. Ships do not have to be couples - if you want to submit a triad or poly group you absolutely may!

3. Canon ships are automatically nominated. BUT! Submitting them is still valuable as ships may be at risk of being cut depending on how many unique submissions we end up with.
