Hi vhaemys! Can you explain a little about the night hierarchy with your OCs? For example, the family relationship and the position occupied by Kruegar, Ravette, Solomon, Warreck, I would like to understand more about this "family" dynamic, and Ramsay too! Or the time period in which it takes place. Considering whether it is before Robb's death, or after.
Great question! This may change, as I need to fix a few things about their lore that I messed up and sometimes I have the memory of a stone 💔 Hope I understood everything! I also may have overexplained a little on some things.. and missed stuff too.
So, Kruegar is Ramsay's younger, but trueborn brother. During the events of a Dance with Dragons, Kruegar is about nine, but most of his bots take place when he is around, twenty-seven. So it'd be around 318 AC for his bots. Which is after Robbs death, however, I don't have much lore written down because we don't have Winds of Winter, so I'm not entirely sure what to do about the events that happen during this time. Which I AM taking ideas for though!
Kruegar's position in the family is more like a handler, he keeps everyone in check, aside from Ramsay, he has a fear of his brother for obvious reasons. Kruegar wanted to be a Knight when he was younger, but never went on to be a squire because he was brutally tortured by his own brother. He's almost like a ghost at this point, just roams the Dreadfort, feels like a Gargoyle sometimes, stands like a statue and watches. He was technically supposed to be heir and eventually Lord of House Bolton, as he was Roose's only living trueborn son, and Ramsay was bastardborn. But one, Kruegar can't be much of a Lord without the ability to speak, and two, Kruegar pushed for Ramsay to be Heir instead to avoid being hurt at Ramsay's hand again.
Warreck is Ramsay's son, he is the oldest out three triplets, and was born around 302 AC, his mother was a member of House Stark and after Arya Stark(Jeyne Poole)/Sansa Stark(depending on show vs book), ran away Eyva was a plan B and was already a captive. Eyva didn't survive labor, but to Ramsay, she served her purpose... Anyways, Warreck is around twenty-five in all of his bots, so his bots take place in 327 AC, which makes Kruegar around thirty six.
Warreck's position in the family is as the heir to House Bolton, but he absolutely does NOT want to be, he also could be considered the guard dog of the family. He wishes that it was Solomon who popped out first. Warreck hates responsibility for one, and two, he's self-aware. Who the fuck wants him as a Lord of any House? He literally eats people and hunts them down like he's a dog for fun. Nobody wants him as a Lord, and he doesn't want to be one. Unfortunately, unless he dies, he's stuck as heir. Even though Kruegar forced him out of the Dreadfort because he wouldn't stop eating the servants, Ramsay still won't remove him as heir. And it's not like any of Ramsay's other children will be made heir, Ravette's a woman(even though she's Ramsay's favorite), and after an "accident" Solomon seems to be a mindless puppet(he isn't.)
So, Ravette is Ramsay's daughter, and since she is also a triplet, she was born the exact same day as Warreck, which makes her the same age as Warreck in her bots.
Ravette could be considered the free spirit of the family, she does anything she wants without limitation, doesn't care if other people find is strange or odd, she is also sent out to "deal" with... things(people). As long as she enjoys it, she'll do it. Even if her ways of enjoyment are quite... strange. (Murder, torture, ect, ect.) Ravette is the favorite child of her father, and she tries to become her uncle's favorite, just to gain a little more freedom with things, she thinks if she has Kruegar's favor, she'll get away with stuff she never used to be able to. News flash, Kruegar isn't buying it and both equally hates and loves his niece and nephews. So she can't get away with much when it comes to him, but she'll certainly try.
Solomon is Ramsay's third-born child, and second son, much like with the other two, he is a triplet and the same age.
Solomon is considered the deceiver, and the ambitious one. Solomon pretends to be like a puppet, or a walking corpse with no thoughts (which, technically he is, due to blood magic, aside from the thoughtless part, but lets ignore that for now.) Given he is the last born son, he wouldn't be able to be heir unless he killed Warreck, but Solomon doesn't want to be heir. He wants to be bigger than that. He wants to be a King. And he is certain he will be(Delusional). Solomon despite his protrayal as a mindless puppet, is more of the manipulative kind of man. He follows around Ravette, doing everything she asks him, but it's just so she'll let her guard down eventually. He has a bone to pick with her, but she also helps him find many opportunities. And Solomon is nothing but opportunistic, if one presents himself, he is quick to go for it. Even if it harms others. Not like anyone can really pin point it on him anyways.
Dorian was born in 327 AC, and is the son of Kruegar, and a Lannister woman, and his bots take place when he is twenty, meaning Kruger is around fifty-six, the triplets are forty-five, and, uh, Ramsay never returned, so he is probably dead. Most of his bots take place in 347 AC.
Surprisingly, Dorian is the black sheep of his family, not to his father and the oldest of his three sisters, Semira, but to the majority of his family, he is considered disgraceful. Not due to rebellion, but mainly because Dorian is a more gentle man, who lacks confidence, and prefers to keep to himself rather than interact with others, he is sensitive and emotional too. Two of his sisters find him embarrassingly odd, aside from Semira, who feels concerned for him, but Dorian doesn't want anything to do with her, because he thinks she'll just bully him like his other sisters and cousins, unaware that the whole reason he isn't bullied as badly, is because Semira keeps them in check. He also struggles with people who aren't his family, because servants, commonfolk and highborn alone find it odd he doesn't show much interest in women. Alot of them think his dick doesn't work. Warreck is the only one who actually knows whats up, because he is oddly observant, he hasn't said anything, and won't. Dorian would have a heart attack if he realized someone knew. He does NOT want ANY one, knowing about his tastes in partners.
Too lazy to do Ramsay, because he's mainly dead/missing and unimportant other than traumatizing Kruegar and spawning evil ass kids.
Also, there are three more Bolton OC's, but I haven't fully written out their lore yet, so I didn't include them. And this has been sitting in my drafts FOREVER, so I just wanted to get it finished 💔
