Havent felt all that inspired lately so ive been chipping away at the Kahl the local store had for its anniversary. Im doing a sub assembly as it's a character unit and really hate wiggling a brush into hard to reach areas.

This is one of my oldest minis. I stripped his paint and gave him a new lease on life as a Red Corsair! Im very happy with how he turned out I just wish I had a way to fix that horrible gun barrel LMAO

Challenged myself and did a speed paint for the first time

30 min limit results, im kinda happy that I managed to get a halfway decent results that fast. He's perfectly battle ready (base nonwithstanding)

Two WIPs for the price of one!

I have been fighting with this daemon prince for weeks now trying to find a good base color for all the fleshy bits and my poor techmarine has been waiting months to be painted so I decided to work on both

Did you know mk7 armor was actually at the Siege of Terra? It was super rare so I am just using one for my 30k army.

I'm letting the base paste dry before I darken it and grey it out to fit the theme of the rest of my army. I like how he turned out!

The base is now finished! He looks good and exhausted. Stoic at the end of the Emperor's dream and imminent collapse of humanity to the whims of laughing gods.

I got the balefleet battleforce box for my Alpha Legion harrowing.

I don't have the colors I want for the daemon prince as of yet so in the meantime I constructed and painted his base!

Recently got out of a massive art block i was suffering from and finally dained to finish my 2nd praetor

Themed him after a templar brethren and spattered him with a generous helping of blood for the blood god paint.

His base does need a few touchups but other than that I'm happy with how he turned out :)

There is something so satisfying about finishing a batch of minis that you've been holding off on doing for so long. Originally my airbrush primer didn't seem to be working correctly (multiple coats were not enough to allow other paint to adhere over it). So they were on my garage desk for weeks. I finally brought them in and coated them with Black Legion contrast and gussied them up.

I think personally the grenade launcher had too much nuln oil applied to it but given the theme for my Horus Heresy army being "These boys need a shower" I think it fits in well enough.

All in all I'm super proud of these guys and after some base touchups they should be good to go!
