I wanted to comment on your post but I think it's more appropriate to message you directly I just wanted to say I completely understand where your coming from and especially the frustration and feeling inferior compared to others
And I feel the same way myself, it's really admirable that you haven't let the lack of attention feed onto your joy of making art, and don't let it! I feel that a lot of people on here feel the same way you do, especially in the art department.
It feels a bit draining, putting effort into something and thinking you outdone yourself enough for other people to enjoy only to get 4 or more likes or reblogs. And it's not necessarily your fault or anyone else's.
My little piece of advice is make art for yourself first and remember that whoever took their time to look at your art and like it or whatever, really enjoy it!
Funny enough I've actually have your art saved on my stuff before starting my own Tumblr account (I used a burner one for years)
And it's (at least to me because I do it too) to fawn over what little comment or attention you do get! It's valid and it should make you feel like a "puppydog" so to speak. Let's normalize not acting nonchalant!
Anyways I just wanted to reach out and say, hey, I literally feel the same way. You said it yourself but remember to always have fun with your art!
