Walking down the hallway, Haru was oblivious to his surroundings. Class was finally done for the day which meant one thing; swimming. He’d been looking forward to this day all winter. The day when it was finally warm enough to swim in the outside pool again.

He hadn’t noticed the boy in front of him until he knocked into him, earning himself an angry glare. ”I’m sorry,” Haru apologized, bowing his head slightly. “I didn’t see you there.”

He forgets that he's supposed to be a regular student for a moment, noble arrogance shining through the facade for only a moment before he shuts himself up, and forces a smile. "Ah -- I forgot myself for a moment! I just transferred, so everything is new to me." Waste not, want not. If this is an opportunity to get information, he may as well take it. Even if he is just a high school student. But outright asking about murder will definitely seem suspicious, so the false smile widens and the facade strengthens. "I'm -- John Smith. I'm sorry for being so rude to you."

This is ridiculous. Here he is, in a bloody public high school in the middle of Japan. Is this really the only lead they have? Isn't there anything a little closer to home they can go off? He hates travelling to foreign countries, especially when he barely knows the language. The queen may have asked him to solve this case, but that doesn't mean he has to be happy about where it takes him. And he definitely isn't happy about being enrolled into this stupid place.
