Her eyes widened. “You don’t?!” She could see how sad the girl looked now. Was she thinking of the human world? It was such a wonderful place...oh, she felt so bad for her. She had to take her there, for sure! “I have my own apartment there! You should come down there with me sometime! Any time!”

Emi giggled as the little bell rang. It was a small place, with a few tables and a counter not too far from them. There was nobody else there, though, so it wasn't cramped at all. "Ooh...they have the best things here! Bread, muffins, cupcakes, cakes, cookies...”

Having his way successfully with someone for a change, Asuto was fully immersed in the attempt to mesmerize the woman. Least expecting someone to surprise him like that- And as such, letting out a startled yelp as he was jumped in his spot, eyes suddenly covered. That voice was–… “E-Emi!?”

“Asuto! I didn’t know you came here!” Emi was so excited to see a spirit friend of hers, in the human world. Talking to other people. Someone who could maybe understand her love for this world. She uncovered his eyes and giggled.

“Oh, thank you!!!” Emi beamed. She looked at the girl’s blonde locks of hair in awe. “I love yours, too!”

She ran over to Asuto, not expecting to see him in the human world. She was going to call out, but decided to sneak up behind him. Sneaking over, she suddenly covered his eyes with her hands. “Guess who?!”

“Do something…? Y-yes, I would like that..” She nodded hesitantly, finally offering a small smile, to the pink haired girl, relaxing visibly now as they seemed to be getting along more. Wonderful things? She could only picture her father or perhaps her key holder speaking well of her.. “The human world? I adore it.. There’s nothing i’d like more than to get to spend a full day, living just a normal human life… Heh- call me silly, but I think it’d be nice..”

Her eyes lit up. “Really?! I love the human world so much!!! I spend most of my time there!!!” She was beyond excited that this girl shared her love for the human world. She rarely found spirits who shared her love. In fact, she hadn’t yet. Only ones who thought she was insane, and a few others who didn’t try and stop her. “How much have you been there?”

“W-What– N-No, no you didn’t, not at all!… You’re fine!” He protested, pouting somewhat. “You’re fine. …Really.“

“Ok...if you’re sure...” She said. “I don’t want to make anyone upset.”

“I-I’m not being silly, okay…” He silently said, backing away. “Juh-, Just forget I said anything, okay…? Nevermind any of that… It’s fine.” He said, looking away with a grumble.

“Oh, ok...” She said. Her features fell, and a worried look came across her face. “I didn’t upset you, did I...?”

  Usually the sudden touch would make her blushing again, but the other’s words completely took her off guard- shocking her entirely. This girl.. knew her? They had never met, and she was rarely in the other spirits domains yet… Emi knew her? “Y-you know who I am..? B-but- how? I-i’m never around..” Glancing away shyly, she played with the hem of her dress nervously.This girl was practically the Princess of the zodiacs.. and Honoka was ‘the beast’ no one paid attention to, yet somehow she had taken notice of her?

“Of course! I’ve heard wonderful things about you!” Emi took both of her hands. She could easily read emotions, and could tell how in disbelief the other girl was, if her features and words hadn’t already given that away. Plus, Emi just liked contact with other people. “I was so excited to finally get to meet you!” The spirit smiled wider. “We should do something sometime! Like, a lot of times! Oooh...what do you think of the human world?” She was curious about that, and hoped the question wasn’t too sudden.

As soon as he felt her hand on his head, he rather passively tried swatting it away. “Sh-Shut up-! W-Who’s fretting, anyway!”

“You are! Don’t be silly.” She took her hand back. “Well, being silly can be a good thing. But why are you getting so defensive?”

Oh no; did he misdo that…? His posture caving in somewhat, Asuto’s left hand moved clenched a little as it was brought towards his chest. “Y-Yeah, it’s my domain, I mean, umm… Since well, y-you know… It’s, well, my room, and… stuff…”

She giggled and leaned over, ruffling his hair. “I know. I was just kidding! Don’t fret.”

“Well duh, this is my domain, you know… Not like I expect you to visit me too often. Unless you’d want to of course, I won’t say no to that~”

She raised one eyebrow, crossing her arms, but still smiling. “Your domain?”

“–Sorry, what? Didn’t quite catch that.”

“I said, you probably don’t see me around her because I don’t stay here often.”

Honoka’s eyes widened immediately as she was suddenly pulled into a hug by the pinkette, staring in surprise at the unfamiliar feeling before hesitantly offering a hug back- her face red as she did so before being separated. Blinking a few times she glanced down at her hand before slowly shaking it, nodding slightly. 

“M-my name is Honoka… I’m daughter of Ophiuchus.. I-i’m very honored to make your acquaintance!” She managed to squeak out, looking down incredibly flustered.

She giggled, ruffling her hair. “Of course I know who you are, silly!” She had indeed heard a lot about her, and had been eager to meet her. She’d been hoping for another spirit friend. As she had many human friends, her spirit friends were barely any, as she barely spent any time here. Maybe Honoka even shared her fascination. Or possibly she could help spark it.
